Can you really not make it through a raid with say 3 or 2 people?

To be fair, your example is about as a selective as random matchmaking, so uhh I guess thanks for the bad example?

I am content with the no matchmaking so this will not be me ranting but just stating my situation and opinion on the matter. I'm 28, work 40 hours a week, go to college 3 nights a week, and am recently engaged. My time with my 360 is very limited. I only get on once to twice a week. I never have a set time to play. My friends are all around my age and more or less in the same situation (except they have kids!). For me personally, it will be near impossible to schedule Raids with my friends or people on here. I don't really ever know what nights I'll have off from everything. I just get on when I have no homework and my fiancé and I don't have plans. For my predicament, I would not mind playing with random people. I just want to enjoy all the content on the game. For most people arguing about MM, you know you always have the option to not use it. I never really got that mentality of people arguing over how bad it would be and how bad randoms are. Well if you have friends and a clan to do it with, then why would you protest adding MM? Anyways, that topic has been beaten to death so we can leave that alone. I would like MM so I can get into a group when I have the time to do so. I'm not raging that there isn't MM., but damn it sure would be nice for a person with this much stuff going on in his life.

So speaking of this who wants to add me on psn to do some raids? I'm jobless and just graduated high school so I have a lot of time on my hand and all my friends are pretty much still in High School or have a Xbox One. I'll be on ps4 my psn is xman565

Anyone who plays raiding in WoW would understand why Bungie decided to do this for raiding. It is very importatnt for teamwork and communication to be an effective group. You'll probably argue that they have LFR which is matchmaking and I'd argue there are always people who take charge in the group and lead them to do the right thing. Consoles are not so fortunate to have another form of communication besides mics which not every player has. If you're not able to hear what your teammates need you to do you'll be another lone wolf with a separate goal. Even with communication you'll run into people who are "do it my way or the highway" and then you'll have yet again another lone wolf. Matchmaking would just lead to fruitless efforts and wastes of time. If you believe logging on to bungie.net and looking for a group on here is too much of an effort then you are simply lazy. If you argue these people are still randoms you'd be correct, but these people have already expressed interest and effort into doing a raid. Matchmaking randoms tend to have their own goals and will not follow a group goal (I can tell you from my ridiculous number of hours on CoD BO2 zombies). Also how often can you say you're always in a matchmade game where you win 100% of the time with randoms? I know for a fact I can't and that alone would discourage me from doing a raid with a 6 man group of them. Don't forget this is my opinion and if you disagree that's cool, but in the end I don't care what you think of my opinion.

what timezone u in im 15 am i still able 2 play with u ,yes i have a mi they should alow MM as an option for the people who want to try thier chances at playing with randoms and if it fails then they can make a group on forums such as this one. not allowing ingame gamechat prevents making friends to ply raids with BAD MOVE bungie.

Ok, now, those people you obtain from the forum... Are they any different than the people that a MM service would throw at you. NO. THEY ARE STILL RANDOMS! Now.. let's look at how easy it is to do the same thing you just did... The proper way. I' don't have to log into a forum I don't have to make a thread I don't have to spam invites I don't have to add people to my friends list who will soon be deleted shortly after the event.
