Motes of Light, on our Beta Characters?
Any one else notice this, I was looking at my Guardian maybe for the last time and I noticed something new in my Inventory.
I got 8 Motes of Light... how?
(since the Destiny Beta was an old pre dev build of Destiny, the coding was different back then, so now they updated the game to its current form, the data was too changed.)
so
I had 8 Glass Shards... makes sense.
Update: It seems everyone's Glass Shards have turned into Motes of Light... why?
Updated2: Some people even got random armour, weapons, and other goodies like armor or shaders and items.
Update 3: since some people couldn't put 2+2 equals fish (for some reason), I added the Answer to the question itself.

3 通の返信I got a shader called Million Million and it turned my character grey and gold. Looks epic, I also got 8 motes of light

6 通の返信Hmmm interesting. The rendering of my char seems to have increased when I view him. Also my under armour has turned to a glistening copper colour and the shoulder and forearm pads to a glistening silver! Looks pretty lush!

4 通の返信Trials of Osiris requires a Mote of Light to join. If your Fireteam loses three times your out. Then you have to use another Mote of Light to join again.

1 返信Might be some sort of coding thing. They still did say beta characters were getting wiped soon so don't get any hopes up for a transfer. Also some guns look different too, look at the colors of your weapons in the icon. My once rare red and black machine gun is a blue and dark blue.

1 返信It was definitely very recent that this change occurred because I screen captured every part of my beta character when bungie tweeted the other day about erasing them. In all the pics I still have my original items including glass shards.
