I've always hated the Call of Duty community. It's full of Hackers, 7 year-old kids talking smack, and a lot of frustration. When I talked to them about their thoughts on Destiny, a lot said they would play it. Not to generalize the community as a whole, but I don't want my Destiny Crucible experience to be like a normal CoD BOII or Ghosts session. Anyone else feel the same?

1 返信I will play Destiny PvP like I play Blops 2 run around randomly shooting my gun never killing anyone and trolling my team BEST WAY EVER to play a FPS.

It does kind of concern me that as the PS4 is (was) now the cheaper system the parents will be buying that over the xb1 for their little Jonny's, and we may see a reversal of the PSN=mature / XBL=kids that we had on the last gen. Which was one reason I switched my COD loyalty to ps3. If it does turn bad I may have to switch back to XB1 :( As for Destiny I'm pretty sure we will have to deal with some of it. But fortunately there is no actual PvP chat afaik. We'll see how it goes I guess.

Not too worried. A lot of us will be running pve in the beginning and by the time we get to pvp in a couple months, CoD Advanced Warfighter will be on the market. I imagine the CoD guys will move back to their game of choice eventually and leave us to focus more on putting together raid fireteams and Iron Banner matches.

It will be too hard for the average COD player to make the change and be accurate for once, so you probably won't see them after a month or two and + theres no proximity chat so you won't be able to speak to them anyway. Just destroy them and you're sorted!

I would say as someone who has lots of bungie experince. They ban thououghly and police well. I doubt you will see a lot of hacking. Sorry to break it to yah but often cod dosen't do much to combat that stuff compaitvely. They just jump to the next game/map pack. Also the game plays differently along with recoil handeling diffrently as well. I don't think many of those players will be able to play or act the same way they do in cod.

I used to play CoD a lot. Then I saw the light of Halo 2 and Battlefield. To this day I can tell who the CoD players are. They all play the EXACT same way. Jumping around corners, going prone whenever they are engaged in a fight, and just jumping around in general. It's really cute, and makes shooting them so satisfying.

1 返信Less worried about CoD fanboys joining than day-one elitists thinking they're instantly better, for whatever reason, than anybody else. i.e., they played every Halo, FPS, and MMO ever made and are therefor instantly the "best". And not to confuse those who enjoy playing CoD vs the foaming-at-the-mouth psychopathic squeakers and wannabe-thugs who think every other game that even uses a gun is ripping off Call of Derp. But hopefully those types who get on Destiny will get it, realize they have to actually grind and build themselves up to a respectable build in level, skills, armor, and weapons before accomplishing much in the crucible. Because, at least to my knowledge, you can't just buy your levels and gear and whatnot in the marketplace, but actually work for them. Guess that gold-plated and diamond-encrusted sparrow will have to wait 'til another time.

Don't worry, there is no voice chat feature in this game really. Besides the occasional random strike mission, you need to form a group for story missions and raids, so you know who you're going in with beforehand. You can't even hear your teammates in the Crucible lol...
