Bungie has already stated that Raids/Strikes are not for normal players. They are only for the best of elitists who can complete them with flying colors. With this being said, I believe that punishments for players who cannot complete raids/strikes are a great way to help the community.
1) A ban would be appropriate for such an event, depending on how far the fire team got through the raid/strike. For example, if a fire team made it half way through, then a ban for half of a week would be necessary, longer or shorter bans depending on how close to completion. This would make it so that elitist players can have a smoother time getting together and completing raids/strikes.
2) A fine of 10,000 glimmer per person would have to be set. That way when they play the mission, they will be more cautious as they don't want to be fined again.
3) All hair would be removed from their avatar including beards/mustaches. It would be returned of course after the raid/strike is completed. This way they will be getting a much more satisfying completion instead of just getting certain weapons/gear.
4) A demotion of two ranks will be set on each player that failed. Earning the rank back would make for a more challenging redemption.
5) PvP will most definitely be locked to that person until they complete the raid/strike that they failed to complete previously.
These are just my ideas. All of yours are welcome in the comments as is constructive conversation. Thank you for your support in making these changes possible. You can help by telling bungie that you will cancel your pre order if they are not implemented.

1 返信I'd say 5 but there all really harsh, Perhaps before getting any of those Punishments, it'd be wise if you mentioned how many tries i'd be able to have before receiving these punishments.

6 通の返信So much butthurt because you don't wait to take the requisite time to join a clan/make friends to raid with. So sad.

Mysticalにより編集済み: 8/21/2014 8:47:58 PMpeople thinking that anything in Destiny requires skill/elitist players and they should be held in higher regard. Elitist pricks are what is wrong in gaming. lol just lol Destiny is a pve game mostly. I hardly would consider people needing to be banned from something silly like a raid. There is nothing 'elite' about it. Just people who have way too much time on their hands to grind. good bait. but sadly there are people out there who think this stuff would actually be a great idea. I feel sorry for them they think banning fellow gamers because they think they are most 'elite' is ok to do.

With all that extra glimmer, body hair, and ranks just lying around I think it should be given to the players that are not good at the game. They then become covered in beards and hair, get 10,000 glimmer and and two extra rank ups!

Don't you think that's all a bit... extreme? Nobody ever said that Raids/Strikes are for the elite. Bungie only said that Raids are for people with friends who agree to sit down hours for it with good communication. Most of the players who play a Raid wont be able to finish it anyway, so you'd want to punish all those people? Besides, it's a game. For fun. If someone needs to quit mid-raid, too bad. It is how it is. Can't exactly ban someone for such things. Specially seeing how you'd need to arrange Raids, someone leaving would mean there's an emergency. The glimmer fines wont work anyway, those are 10 minutes of farming. Nothing bad. Removal of character features is an instant NO. There's just no way any developer would hand you the ability to customize your character, only to punish you for it later on. Also, how would Exo's be punished in that case? Demotion is... weird... you mean set back 2 levels? That only means people will play Raids with even lower levels, so you get even less chance on it Locking pvp is also an instant NO. They pay for the game, they've got the right to access it. Just because they can't finish a certain thing, doesn't mean everything else should be cut off. There's already a punishment for not completing it. That's the fact that you didn't complete it. There's always more experience, glimmer and loot in the end, and you're missing out on it.

7 通の返信6) The player with the lowest score, within the failed fire team would have their sparrow confiscated and replace with a childs tricycle (girls one)

1 返信Well, all your points are stupid and irrelevant, thus will be ignored. Why on Earth should someone be punished just because they didn't finish something in game? They just level up and come back. Punishment like you suggested would just put people off this game, making less money = less effort from developer. Elitist players...whatever the -blam!- that means. People like yourself should have their own lobby in each game, which would be called "Ego massage".
