THE ANNOUNCEMENTS HAVE BEEN UPDATED. SEE BELOW.
First, if you haven't done so, make sure you make Weekend Warriorz your playstation clan upon release. Bungie has disabled this for now, but if you do not set WWz as your playstation clan, you will NOT get clan bonuses from playing with clan members. You can be a member of multiple groups but can only have one clan. Of course, we don't mind if you only want to be a group member while being a clan member of another clan. I just want to make sure that anyone who wants this to be their clan has it set up correctly to get all the benefits.
We have 5 admins: Theedeflowerer, Courvalant, JoeSpeed, Match5ticks, and myself. Clan members should at least have 1 of us on their friends' list (doesn't matter who, maybe choose by timezone).
Third, we have an alliance with one other clan: Praesidia Ex Luce (Guardians of Light) and both our clans fly under the Might of Many Banner. I've chatted with one of their admins (StrychIX) extensively and he's a super cool guy. He's introduced himself on our forums, and I encourage everyone to check out their clan page and to get to know some of their members...as well as the alliance page. Between the two groups, I believe there are around 30 total members in various time zones who play on varying schedules, so there shouldn't be a problem for anyone finding people to link up with.
ALL MEMBERS PLEASE NOTE: The decision to accept you into our clan was not made lightly, and we ask that you not take this opportunity lightly either. As such, the rest of this post details the type of behavior we expect from each of our clan mates. Above all else, we should all be cognizant of the fact that we are all gathered together, through WWZ, to Have Fun . The Code of Conduct is as follows:
1. Have Fun.
2. Clan-Mate Interaction: We all have lives beyond gaming. Some of us have families. Some of us have significant others. Some of us have school, or jobs, or any number of other things that get in the way (just kidding). So we have to be tolerant of others' circumstances. If a person tells you they need to step afk in any situation...in the middle of a raid, a heated PvP match...or any situation, respect and tolerate it. WHATEVER they need to step away for is automatically more important than the game. We shouldn't be giving others grief for having to deal with their obligations. If you think the game is more important, this probably isn't the clan for you. In addition, let's not forget the casual nature of the group. That means there are players who may not play as much as you do. Therefore, please be mindful of spoilers. If you want to discuss anything regarding a possible spoiler, make sure you post "Spoilers" in the topic line when you create a thread. Be liberal with what you consider a spoiler. Some people may want to be completely suprised by each and every type of armor, while others only consider plot twists as spoilers. Thus, if it could be a spoiler for anyone, label it that way.
3. Playing Together: Be respectful. Similar to Rule #2, you are required to be respectful. Everyone brings different tools to the fight. Some players may not be as "good" as others. Some guys aren't built to dominate PvP and some aren't exceptional PvE players, but regardless of skill level, there should be no griefing about players not being good. If you want to form a competitive team for PvP, say so when picking teammates. Ask them whether they're comfortable playing competitively or if they think their skills are up to it. Likewise, players should work as a team. Decide on a fireteam leader and attempt to execute his or her strategy. Also remember the objective of the game mode you're in. If you've linked up to do a story mission, don't go off exploring unless EACH fireteam member is ok with that. If you're playing control, make an effort to score points (capturing objectives, etc.) If you're supposed to defend a target, do that. If you want to be the leader, let people you are linking up with know as much. If you don't like someone's plan, respectfully tell them as much and that you'd like to find another team (however if it's mid-match, stick it out...its only a game).
4. Contacting Players to Join Fireteams: PSN messages and forum scheduling are optimal. However, players may post their phone numbers to expedite the process. If someone posts a phone number and says "text only" that is exactly what it means. Do not call them. Further, it might help to identify yourself in the text "Hey this is Cheddah from the Destiny Clan...blah blah". I don't usually get random texts, and rather than getting a look of death from my fiancee, I'd rather her just be able to see that it's another gamer texting me.
5. Dispute Resolution: Ideally, we are all adults and should be able to handle our differences properly. I don't really have a ton of time to sift through complaints like "CV was mean to me". Thus the first step in resolving a dispute will be to step back and give yourself time to cool off. Then, you should directly message that player and attempt to resolve whatever your differences are. If that fails, you should definitely report the incident to me or another admin. Let us know what happened and what steps either party took to rectify the situation and what you think we should do about it. The admins will take it from there and come up with a fair decision, or ask the entire clan for input. Lastly, if someone is found to have been acting out, the disciplinary process will be as follows: Private warning; temporary activity ban; permanent ban.
6. Clan Business: This is a democracy. Of course, a new member can't come in and start demanding changes. The length of time you've been with us has value. The First 50 (i.e. the first 50 clan members - not general members) will be the core of the group. Everyone is on equal footing. Everyone's opinions matter and will be given equal weight. That goes for the admins too. They're merely volunteers who don't mind assisting with clerical matters. They have no exceptional authority, and they must abide by the rules just like everyone else. If a dispute arises between yourself and an admin, don't feel reluctant to address it because of their title.
7. Recruiting: I'm going to stop recruiting until after release. I think it's important to get a makeup of the members we have as of now. Not everyone who is signed up will decide to become a clan member. Some people may not be interested anymore once the game releases. Until we get an accurate picture of the actual number of clan members, I'm going to hold off on recruiting...but I will add anyone who requests to join. After we have that number, I think new members should be brought in only after being vetted. That is, a clan member must play with that person and then vouche for them.
Thanks to CV for the help on these rules. If ANYONE has suggestions for changes or additions, please let me know. These rules are subject to change.

1 返信I think with the new members we have taken on this needs a bump to the top. Also for old members it would be good to re read and remember what it was like to be new. Also I posted this in the clan chat but It needs to be said where it will stay raiding if some one posts In the clan chat that they need X amount of people for said raid, do not reply to chat saying you will go. The chat is not the place for that because it is ever expanding and the person who asked for people may not see your post and thus people get butt hurt when they are not taken on said raid. Do go to the tab in the upper left, select groups, tap WWz, and swipe to the right. This brings up the most recent threads. It will read latest at the top. Find the raid thread in question and reply with your PSN tag, class and lvl. By doing so you log a time you signed up. Raids are first sign up get a spot. Also when replying said raid thread it sends a message to the threads creator letting him know someone replied and thus locked in, so he can add you to the list. Some raid threads get reused like old gym socks if you see ----break---- in a thread that means everything below that post is old and out dated, so please ignore under that break. Simple and basic if we all can do this I think it will make raiding and sign ups a lot easier for all of us and no one will be butt hurt they got left out. Just claim your spot in the raid thread. Not in clan chat.

3 通の返信Did we ever come up with a number we want to cap the group/ clan at. We've gotten a lot of new people lately, which I really like, but I haven't wanted to just add everybody in case a cap number was set and I was unawares. To me I think 10 peeps per admin is a good thing to shoot for. so right now with 5 admin, I would like to see a 50 person cap. What do you guys think? ~JS

2 通の返信This may be a noob question; how do I set WWZ as my Playstation Clan? If I click on the Playstation Clan tab beside the Group Wall and Group Forum tab on the top of the page, I get a message that says 'Clan features are disabled until 09/09/2014'; do I have to wait until launch to set WWZ as my Clan, or am I missing something? Thanks, -CV
