Which gaming company cares the most about profit and the least about their customers?

2 通の返信I vote EA, I'd say Microsoft is close behind. And I love EA titles on Xbox. :( But hasn't EA been voted worst company in a few years straight? That can't just be a poll from gamers. So that says something. Xbox with the GOLD and having a paywall to Netflix and YouTube is dirty. And its just now changing slightly? That's not consumer in mind. That's a way to earn more customers back. But EA how they treat games. Ripping half out behind more paywalls and making apps that don't work for games that don't work? HRMMMM...

1 返信Microsoft, so honest they will tell you the good sides and the bad sides of their products then change everything based on customer feedback including not making a profit. Sony doing everything in its power not to look bad while trying to get as much cash out of you as possible by creating 10 different things for 1 console and stupid rent system. EA well........they are getting better I mean all Sims 2 Expansion Packs for free? Come on that's a good deal in anybodies book and Battlefield 3. But they did sell the same game 10 years running (Fifa) so that ain't very good. Steam...... I assume you mean Valve, they do next to nothing and just do multiple sales, they get the money but don't fix any problems with their client or stop people from getting ripped off = Not good. Alien Ware sell Over priced computers = not good. Bioware is under EA Lucus Arts......they haven't released a good game and got bought out/closed? So......they have done nothing for either category. Where is Activision? They run every IP into the ground and rehash the same crap year after year = bad. Where is Zenimax and that disaster we call Elder Scrolls online?

3 通の返信I can confidently say that there are 0 companies that would take a hit to profits just to cater to the consumer. They know people will buy the games anyway, and since every company has to follow AAA standards, there is zero creative competition to allow breathing room for people to try new things and put quality games out.

They're all Corporations, and Corporations exist for one reason only; to make more and more money for their shareholders. If you believe that [i]any[/i] corporation actually cares about you as a Gamer/consumer; then you're not only naive, but you've been successfully fooled by them. They care about your money and convincing you that you want to spend it with them, they care nothing for you an an individual.

6 通の返信Even tho ea is bad I picked MS and I've owned a few... Based on the fact they make you buy extra stuff just to use the stuff you just bought Anybody remember the DVD playback kit...? A shit remote and eye to use something BUILT IN Than charge and play kits for 360 Kinect v2 for x1 and also charge and play for x1 [spoiler]just found out about that today[/spoiler] SO YEAH MS for the nickle and dime you to death win
