Men using female characters
I don't get it my friend is always picking female characters, I can see once In a while but it's every game there's an option for it. Just why???

1 返信The true definition of MMORPG, Most Men Online RolePlaying Girls. I know Destiny isn't an mmorpg but its seemed to fit.

Female characters tend to have more detail and thought put into their designs by the developers than male characters. Their usually thinner frames and builds fit my play style more often, where I tend to play stealthy or highly agile characters that dance around the battlefield.

Rei Shepardにより編集済み: 9/15/2014 1:14:59 PMWell, i don't know about everyone else but when i play a character, it's an avatar i will have to look at for as how long i play this game, i don't like to watch & dress up a guy, so if i have to play dress up in a game with cool awesome equipment idd rather be dressing up a cool female character as opposed to a muscled clad guy since I don't see myself portrayed "as" the character, but more third person. Maybe you see yourself more in character when some other people just regard it as an avatar in the game. Edit: it will become weird when your friend starts using a voice changer, until then i don't see the issue.

Why play Exo or Awaken when your human? I think Bungie should make it so you have to be a robot to play the robot character in Destiny. 4 通の返信Idk if anyone mentioned this but female models tend to have smaller hitboxes due to their frame. That's why I pick them anyway.

49% of the gaming population are female that might be why the option is there. Also there is no shame in selecting a female character as a male.. do you have a mother? I think she needs to slap you in the face if you dislike women so much.

Simple: If I'm going to be staring at my character's backside for a dozen hours or so, I feel more comfortable staring at a hot chick's ass than I do staring at the polygonal glutes of some burly guy, lol.

1 返信Well, one of my guardians will be female. I haven't decided which one yet, I'm just doing it for variety.

Lol there is really only 1 game I can think of that actually had a game play advantage of playing as a Female....and that was Halo Reach - the female Spartans were not as loud (Footsteps wise, and breathing when sprinting wise) than Males.....and the ass was nice too.

It shouldn't matter to you what people want in their character. Sometimes the character could look better female (ie: maplestory's Mercedes) to be honest I'm tired of genderlocked games that don't allow you to play as a girl character or games in the last that have always been male protagonists. Its a nice change. Plus it keeps the creeps from hitting on everyone. Who cares what people pick. Why does it matter to you?

1 返信I like making female toons too when I play, I do it because I go to work all day and have to be around guys why the hell would I want to have to look at a guy all night while I play my game to relax? There are advantages to playing a female in this game as well, if you play a female Titan in this game she is half the size of the male Titan which means if your a PVP player your a smaller target to opposing team members. In some games I've played in the past if you were a female toon you got a different power to use than the male version of that race.

I play as a female in Halo Reach as it balances out Noble team better four male two female, as for Destiny beta I chose a female Titan just because it looked good. I might go male in the full release of Destiny or I might stay female, but I think I'll stay as a Titan though, I really don't care who people play as though, as long as they are happy and enjoying themselves.
