I personally don't smoke or drink because I consider my mind to be the only thing going for me, and I don't want to mess it up.
Anyway, here is my solution for the debacle:
Legal in all states, but only usable on private, home property.
This means that people can only smoke at home, and they must be sober everywhere else.
If found stoned or high while outside of private property, an officer can issue a ticket for $420. If necessary, the officer can bring the offender into custody until sober.
This insures that people can enjoy themselves at only their own risk, and other people like myself will not be negatively affected by someone who is not mentally sober.

This is stupid. I'm almost always high, and I work, and am a functioning member of society. More so than 80% of people are. Why couldn't I be high in public? Does it harm you? Bother you? Kill you? No, nothing bad comes from pot. It should be 100% legal.

You are one person. Can you speak for everybody else? No, you can't. As some other advocates have stated, it has different effects on different people. As for there being no negatives to MJ, that statement is as ignorant as it is unscientific. Everything has negatives to the human body after extreme use or over usage. Eating too much can cause digestive issues and obesity. Drinking too much can dilute the stomach and bloodstream and even cause drowning. Too many vitamins can cause poisoning. Too much exercise can make ligaments and muscles tear and cause bodily trauma.

Okay, first can anyone else confirm your statement of 400lbs? Or do you have a scientific study of a person having NO averse mental or physical effects before smoking 400 lbs? Also you have completely deviated from my original post about keeping MJ out of public space. This leads me to believe that you have no proper rebuttal. All your replies are mostly opinionated with no observational or scientific backing. All I read is something along the lines of 'Pot is love, Pot is life!'
