Because of you my Skyrim save of over 300 hours has been deleted because my hard drive suddenly became "unformatted" from a system update that I got last night that apparently didn't exist.
EDIT: I found out what really happened. I was playing Skyrim and the game crashed and unformatted my hard drive. The reason for the update was the old update that was on my hard drive which was now unreadable. The same type of thing happens with Battlefield 4 when the game crashes the file corrupts but no unformat instead. This only happens if the save file you are using is on the hard drive. This would have been good to know ahead of time and still should be fixed. And out of all the pages I looked at, it seems I'm the only person that found this out that will post it online, so now I'll go to xbox.com and tell them. But they probably still won't care. The only thing Microsoft knows is that once it happens there nothing you can do about it. Well Microsoft how about you fix it to prevent it from happening... you too Sony.
I think it was also 500+ hours because I had my 500th save a few months ago, had the game since the day it came out, play it a lot, and didn't save very often.

Same thing happened to me in Forza 3, lost my entire garage, all money, cars, and credits. I traded the game in lol. I feel your pain it really really sucks. In the future I would highly suggest any game you spend that amount of time on keep a backup save on a usb.

4 通の返信Same sort of thing happened on my PS3... BF4 crashed and my game data was corrupted, and my memory was wiped. Thanks, DICE

I lost all my game saves and games on demand, arcade DLC. Now that's -blam!-ing annoying! I feel your pain bro :(

3 通の返信Why would you waste your life playing skyrim? If you are going to spend at least 12 hours a day playing a Bethesda game you should play fallout.

1 返信One time i was deleting stuff from a memory card, I hit delete all on the memory card, it deleted everything on my memory card and hard drive, the memory card was the only backup of the files that I had, I had over 300 hours on my oblivion account, I know how you feel.

5 通の返信Wow that's actually pretty cool how smart technology is getting. The hard drive is smart enough to see a shit game so it reformats itself and deletes it.
