Why cant the "ghost" voice be a girl?
I would rather my ghost talk as a girl rather than a guy....I prefer a girls voice over a guys.
It'd be cool if they gave you an option for male voice or female

This is exactly the reason Bungie listens to our feedback but makes a point to say they can't do everything the community asks. Peter Dinklage is a phenomenal actor, we are all lucky that he is a part of Destiny. Bolivar Trask was never meant to be a dwarf, but Peter Dinklage played the character so well in Days of Future Past that you'd never know otherwise. We are talking about an actor that is the star favorite in an ensemble cast on Game of Thrones. Now he's doing video games so we can experience that talent in a game we're all looking forward to. Even if it was not your intention, you sound incredibly spoiled by looking that gift horse in the mouth. If you desperately need your AI voice to be female, I suggest you fire up some old Halo games, they're still great. If you need something to hold in your hand, Siri is still available. The female A.I. voice has become common and I applaud Bungie for going in a different direction for Destiny. You should embrace this change as well and give it a fair chance. Your guardian is female with a female voice and that's already a great addition to have equal customization in an action game.

Although I doubt they'll do that it'd be cool, it gets boring hearing the same voice and looking at the same color and it'd really make the ghost feel unique, this isn't halo so don't bring cortana in here. im sure they could get a good girl voice actor. and allot of us are used to girl companions on games. (Midna,Navi,Cortana) it would probably be real late in the development to do all that voice recording. but it would be cool if you can customize your ghost too. make him black, gold, or even neon. i dont exactly like having the same ghost as every one. its the one link that makes everyone seem there playing the same exact story as you.

1 返信I prefer the current voice. The acting he gave on the moon was superior to most of the thing I heard him say on earth. When he looks around and the shutters of his eyes contort a bit and he goes "where's his ghost?" I really felt like he was worried and somewhat hurt that the dead guardians ghost was missing

You can't ask for Batman's Robin to be changed to a female, you can't ask for cortana to be changed to a dude... You can't ask for the Ghost to be changed to a female... Its unreasonable and presumptuous. Not to mention if they did choose to accommodate this, it would double the cost of voicing the Ghost.

God damn it you people knock this shit off. I cannot believe how brain washed you simple mined idiots are. The only reason a ghost would have a female voice is when you have a female character. Even then it didn't make much sense with the lore.

17 通の返信Because it is voiced by Peter fracking Dinklage. Appreciate the skill of a great actor who probably cost a crap-tonne and get over it. Maybe Destiny 2 will have a ghost voiced by Scarlet Johansen. Not everything needs to be approved by the gamer.
