Is there a level cap
I heard there is a level cap at 20 and some say dlc to go higher. Also people say weapons go even higher then the level. Cap. I need to know it took one day to hit level 8 I think in a week I would have finished my hunter. And been half way through my titan. I don't want this game to end fast then uncharted. I want it to last.
So does any one know
what the LEVEL CAP is.
Edit: I'm starting to understand what mote of light is. Its a good game idea. It makes the game more unique then any mmo.
2Edit: motes of light gets u pasted level 20. But its a money type xp. I think.

Motes of light are currency not related to lvl. The soft cap is 20 they call it soft coz armor with light stat boosts your lvl. Light is basically for example +16 light = +16lvl they just renamed lvl. Motes of light are the currency needed to buy gear from the speaker he does not except glimmer or marks. Yes exotics lvl requirement was 32 if i remember the image correctly eather way its in the 30's which means u need light to use exotic gear.

1 返信I have a feeling there really is not level cap. Bungie can continue adding gear to increase the light level which will increase your overall level.

20 is the soft cap. You level up further by gaining Motes of Light, and equipping gear with the "Light" stat to further increase your level, but unequip the gear and you lose Light and may drop down in level.

3 通の返信Right when you hit level 20 you no longer level up in numbers. You start earning motes of light when you fill up that exp bar. These motes of light can be used as a currency when buying stuff from the speaker. For example when playing the beta I saw emblems/nameplates worth 2 motes of light and legendary hunter cloaks for 10 motes of light.

1 返信Just saw a video where they were talking about Raids and when he was choosing his character it showed his level 29 and it was gold so no 20 is just the cap that xp gets you to.

1 返信Motes of light are not what let you increase your level past 20. They are simply a currency that you get for gaining experience past level 20 to spend at the speaker for special items. What actually increases your level is a stat, such as discipline, called "light" on your level 20 armor that you equip. I however don't know how the light specifically affects your level.

3 通の返信There is a level cap but then you also have vanguard and crucible levels once you hit 20 which is fkr higher level weapons and gear I believe

6 通の返信Thing is the leveling in the beta and alpha were sped up so it will take quite a bit longer for the full game.

13 通の返信20s not the cap motes of light get you past that, not sure if there's a cap on MOL lvs. Could keep going as long as you keep finding the lights or getting enough to lv up however it goes

1 返信Why care about lvl, when all that gets you is the requirement for some weapons and armor, why not focus on the MASSIVE amount of game play we will have, like 4+ hours on a SINGLE raid.

3 通の返信Don't believe all of that crap. 20 is the soft cap, and we can level up until 30ish with the light stat.

3 通の返信In typical bungie fashion they are just gonna let your head spin and let you think whatever you want to, the level cap is most likely 50 with legendary gear available at level 20 again NOTHING HAS BEEN COMFIRMED ON THIS AND ANYTHING THAT ANYONE WANTS TO TELL YOU IS SPECULATION.

1 返信I believe the first installment of Destiny is going to be capped at 20. From what I understand the 10 year deal that Bungie made with Activision consists of 4 games. I'm guessing Bungie will slowly increase the level cap with each sequel. This will allow for late followers to gradually catch up to the veterans of Destiny. Also on the topic of leveling I've read several times that the experience requirements to level up was significantly lowered for the BETA so in the actual release we should have a bigger gap between leveling up.

3 通の返信No one working at bungie said that the level cap is 20 in the full game... The highest level I've seen in videos was 20. This doesn't mean that it's is the Max, I hope it's not the max. The game does't come out for 40 days, try not to set the bar low.
