This is a small annoyance, but still something I'd love to see changed: Currently when a mission is finished, you automatically return to orbit. If you want to return to the tower (to identify an item you just got, for example), you have to click "Select Destination", choose The Tower, and then select "Depart" or whatever it says. That's 3 buttons click, and then a second loading screen to sit through.
It would be FANTASTIC to include an option on the mission summary screen to return directly to The Tower rather than have to go through the orbit UI every time.
I've been finding myself returning to The Tower nearly every time I finish a mission, so this would be really nice to see and super convenient.

I do like this suggestion of being able to go directly to the tower rather than to orbit, from both in game and from completing a mission. However, I do not want them to touch or change the hold triangle button. I think it is classy, clean and we're used to it now. The direct option can be achieved by just have 'Travel to Tower' as a separate button option, not part of the Triangle.

I was just ready to post on exactly this topic. After completing any solo/cooperative fireteam mission or Crucible match, it would so convenient to provide two choices: - Go to orbit - Go to tower The efficient of cutting load times and providing the gamer a quick access to the bounty boards, Cryptarch & Vanguards.

2 通の返信In the ghost menu, right next to (PS4) SQUARE (hold): Summon Sparrow. TRIANGLE (hold): Return to orbit. Add: CIRCLE (hold): Return to tower. If we don't want to go that far, then at least add a button at the mission end screen next to TRIANGLE (hold): Continue, giving the option to go back to the tower after the mission cutscene finishes. It can even load in the background, behind the cutscene.

This is a great idea. I'd just prefer it if we could bring up the Director anywhere and not be forced to go back to orbit. I mean, I love seeing my ship and all, but we see it in loading screens. The orbit is supposed to be a lobby, but the Tower serves that purpose just fine.
