As much as I want to whine and moan, I am just going to list why we should have split screen in Destiny:
-We have been told countless times that Destiny is more fun multiplayer.
-Bungie will get more money, not just by extra people buying the game, but also for how much more fun it is, more people will want to play DLC and more people will buy DLC. Also people who didn't have the game before might want it after playing with friends.
-Split screen doesn't effect single player as far as my knowledge goes. If it does, I doubt it effects single player much.
-cheaper for customers (no need to buy a second TV, console, game etc)
-Multiplayer games with no split screen can bore people so much, last time I played Titanfall with a friend, we got so bored of watching then taking a turn, we eventually watched a movie.
-Nobody is saying that you have to use split screen, you can still play online too.
-Do graphics really matter compared to gameplay? Look at pong, or Space Invaders, both really simple, yet fun games.
-if you're not keen on split screen and have read up to here, well done.
I am happy to wait and see Destiny before I make a split screen post like this again. Feel free to agree or complain or have a friendly disagreement below.

- bungie would probably get LESS money. since people aren't going to bother paying for a copy if they can just play it with their friend. and in this day and age everyone see's gameplay on youtube are on streams so its not like seeing a friend play it will be new to them. - firstly, theres no single player, the game is always online, you're always with randoms or in an online world. secondly, if you read the thing deej said above you'd know that it does affect the game drastically; with split screen the game is required to render two separate worlds for each player on the same screen, instead of just 1 world for 1 player. and since destiny has been optimized to look and play the best it can n consoles that means they won't be able to handle 2 different rendered worlds in split screen. so basically if split screen is to be added than they are going to have to lower the quality of the graphics and the game for everyone. which if you ask me is pretty -blam!-ing selfish of people who are whining about split screen. "cheaper for customers (no need to buy a second TV, console, game etc)" so you argued that bungie will get more money and then you admit that bungie won't get more money because people would be paying less? heres a cheaper idea, why don't you and whoever you're sharing with learn to take turns. "Nobody is saying that you have to use split screen, you can still play online too." back to my earlier point, to add split screen they need to lower the quality of the game for everyone so they can integrate it. so basically you're punishing all the people who don't want split screen.
