I feel as if the performance was kind of lagging, but all together not that big a deal. I noticed how bland he was while playing the Alpha, but I didn't think it was something to worry about. I heard that they're going to "fix it" somehow. Does anyone honestly believe it was bad enough to need fixing? Or do you think, like I do, that it's not too important?

It looks even better up here..." -_-; *Just more darkness* "Hold on...I'll find some sticks to rub together; and by sticks I mean highly complex circuits that I am fully prepared to...." "Found trouble!" >.< I just wanted to say that from what I know of Peter Dinklage and ALL of his roles, not just his famous one as Tyrion Lanister; this is prime voice acting....and this was back from 2013. Listen to his lines. They are delivered as they should be from a floating robotic ball. They have edited in a vocal synthesizer since and I am sure he has re-recorded a few of his lines. I have noticed audio variances from some of the very first footage recorded and some of the very same footage taken from the Alpha that feature parts of his voice. That's what happens in voice acting. You should have heard the original cuts from Lunar Silver Star Story, or Inuyasha; even Halo. I heard a few of Nathan Fillions lines from the Halo game he was in and they were crap to start with. That's how these things go though. It's a work in progress until the final takes are done. All of the Destiny fans wanted something though.....so they gave the what they had. An unfinished version. Peter is putting in as much emotion as you would expect from a synthetic robot that goes around collecting dead warriors and turning them into Guardians created by a synthetic magical orb in the sky. It's an AI that's short on patience.......if I were bringing people back from the dead for decades I'd be short on patience too -_- I don't hear anyone bashing what we've heard of Bill Nighys' voice, and for anyone who heard Nathan Fillion's voice as the Hunter Vanguard Master and Hunter Guide during Alpha; you should be giddy that all these voice actors are in the same place as us.

1 返信Not too worried about the voice acting, Bungie knows what their doing! I just hope there will be some hidden fun stuff in the games dialogue like The IWHBYD skull or all the different cut scenes from your difficulty in the Halo series.

1 返信I liked it, but the PVP voice is terrible...it sounds like the english dude has two golf balls stuck in his mouth.

1 返信You are a little late with this thread since his VO's have already been fixed twice.

AtomSwitchbladeにより編集済み: 7/14/2014 8:36:52 AMAccording to Bungie it has. But then I was never worried. What we got was an early build of the game. Dinklage's lines were likely "scratch" tracks. Test recordings if you will. I mean, you never go with the first take.

I agree in the sense that some if his lines were a bit hokey, but I enjoyed the way he delivered them. Frankly I enjoyed his overall performance. They did add a synthesizer, which admittedly I do enjoy more.

1 返信Benjamin94により編集済み: 7/13/2014 11:56:09 PMYes, it should. Personally, I want the voice that's going to be talking in my characters head for hours at a time to not sound like a second rate voice actor who doesn't give a crap about the script he's reading. When I'm forced to continuously listen to a voice that sounds bored and uninterested, I become bored and uninterested.
