Ok guys and girls, we all need to stop, take a deep breath, put on our big-boy pants (figuratively speaking) and stop acting like a bunch of 10 year olds playing cod. We need to end the hate, and that's not gonna happen until this community understands each other, and gives some ground. First off, both sides of this issue must understand that, in general, they are not solving any problems, but simply making things worse. To XBOX: Look, i'm one of you guys, and i'm a veteran here, so believe me when i say that i've felt everything you're feeling... hurt, betrayal, anger. And you're not wrong to feel that way, never let anyone tell you that the emotions you feel are wrong, because you feel them for a reason, but my brothers and sisters, we cannot dwell on those emotions, they'll only get in the way of the reason why we're here, to enjoy the game. The Bungie we knew is fading, and from its ashes a new Bungie is being formed. It started when bungie broke off from microsoft (a dumb decision on microsoft's part to let them leave), and bungie was splintered when Microsoft poached many of the staff members from Bungie. Now Bungie has signed up with a new cash cow, they have new talent and a bigger studio than ever! Things have changed, and they won't be the same again. Despite the special treatment for sony, Bungie still loves us, even though they wanna give microsoft a big middle finger, they're still making the BEST GAME OUT THERE for our console. Don't worry about sony exclusive content, its all timed, we'll get it eventually, but that doesn't even matter because by the time we do get access to it, we'll have long outstripped that equipment, we'll be armed to the teeth with exotic and legendary gear that'll make that exclusive content look like a butterknife by comparison. Now look, we need to end the arguments and act like the veterans we are and show these sony boys how the bungie community is supposed to be... and it's not supposed to be a battleground for the console wars, but a place to swap war stories, to gather with friends and show our appreciation to bungie for providing us with such awesome games! but since the sony boys came in, its been nothing but hate hate hate on both sides. Step Up. We need to not be just the Guardians of the City, but Guardians of the Bungie Legacy. 10 years from now, i want to look back and be proud of how we showed Sony fans how to be bungie fans! Now get out there and #EndTheHate To SONY: Welcome to the community, it's a little crazy right now, as we're slowly learning to accommodate you... we're kind of used to this being our place (with a few mac/pc people still hanging around like ancient hermits that sometimes give out Sage advice, but can also still be pricks too...) Since you're relatively new here, ignore the chaos of the moment and let me tell you what this place is supposed to be about. The Bungie community is not about consoles. The Bungie Community is not about platforms. The Bungie community is about Bungie Games. This pace is here to serve as a pub, where we can swap old war stories, hear new ones, make new friends... For example, {xbox user} "bungie betrayed us waaa, lets cancle our pre-oders..." {sony user} "Stop crying and whining, go buy a ps4, its so much better, why can't you get over it..." This kind of response does not result in an xbox user buying a ps4 and converting so as to stop complaining, but results in said user becoming more angry, more frustrated, and causes them to act out more... by, you guessed it, complaining more in these forums. Given time and space, xbox users will cool down, but you cannot hope to quell the complaints by causing more anger. Instead, try a little empathy, like "Sucks for you man, sorry you get less time than us in the beta, but don't cancel your pre-order just because of that, you'll just be missing out on ALL of the fun instead of an insignificant portion of it! Be Brave and stick through it, if you quit now you'll never Become Legend!" Lend them support, not a torch. Even if you won't do that, just please, for your own sake, don't put more fuel to the fire. This place cannot be the Bungie community until we both put this aside and, on september 9th, shoot aliens in the face together and brothers and sister in Bungie. Our two communities have historically, never gotten along well, but this is our chance to change that, at least here we can take a break form the endless bickering of the console war, and do what gamers are meant to do, play great games! As an Xbox community member, i'd like to invite you to see what Bungie.net can really be, come play with us and remember, the enemy is the Vex...or the Cabal.. or the Fallen, or the hive... ...or the darkness.... I find it disrespectful how there can be retards as big as you! If they stay with Xbox they will make less money as more people have a Ps4. And plus we have the better console... That's not opinion, Thats fact!

Let's put it this way psn is the new baby(no offense intended) in the family bungie and activision are the parents and xbox community is the middle child(can't forget about the master race now can we?) they are giving all their attention to the newborn(psn) which they should. That said they should still be answering questions and maybe adding something a little special doer don't have this left out feeling that exists. I thought the intelligent thread I was in would put al this to bed I'll have to bump it and post it in silly threads like this one although yours is less so then most in out community so yea but that's the reason

PS gets what, a few guns and some armor? the amount of guns and armor in the game is going to make the 'timed exclusive' content a non issue. I've never been part of an alpha or beta or even offered the chance to participate. I played all the halo game and enjoyed them. PS gets it for 4 days then we get it for 4 days then like a week later the game is released for everyone. I just don't see why everyone is so cranked up about this. I want to play now but i can wait a few weeks. life is not all about video games. Read a few books go out and visit the grande canyon. have an adventure somewhere with people. Then on the 9th of september hunker down and enjoy the (hopefully) awesomeness that bungie has created. Oh yeah, and be glad you live somewhere there is food and water and shelter. Be happy you're not getting bombed or shot at for real. There are bigger issues in the world.

The only reason Bungie was exclusive to Microsoft for so long was because Microsoft paid for it. They weren't there because of any other reason. It's the other way around now, except it's not totally Playstation exclusive.

Ok people need to realize that Bungie is a company. Company's goals are to make money, so therefore Bungie is giving exclusivity to whoever wrote them the biggest check, in this case it was Sony. Bungie isn't trying to "betray" anyone or "disrespect the Xbox community" they're just being a company.

To be fair the PS4 is a much more powerful machine and then PC is even more powerful so if I was head of a game developing company I'd go with the stronger console also
