For me what stood out the most was the ability to group up with your friends and do what was fun for you at any particular time. My strike team was able to easily move from free roam to a strike, and balls deep into the crucible. What made the alpha experience so great for me was the fact that there wasn't alot of content but at the same time there was always something to do. I can only imagine what the full game will hold in value to me. What I didn't like about the alpha was that it made me want Destiny more. Now I'm a recovering Destiny addict and am about to go on a binge next week. :)

Alpha got me excited for this game, before I was simply curious. It's been a long time since I was really eager to delve into console FPS. After playing the Alpha for a few hours my overall impression was "Halo meets Mass Effect". Looking forward to exploring the game world and lore, enjoyed the feel of combat and pacing, got a small taste for gear progression. Only thing that bothered me was a mob I just killed a couple of minutes ago respawning practically on top of me, but I'm not sure there's much that can be done about it. Level cap was indeed low, but the game was already well-polished. Also felt like you were just dropped into the zone with no clue what's going on after creating a character, but I imagine that was just due to Alpha. I haven't played Halo since Halo 2, but Bungie's got me hooked enough that I already ordered the Ghost edition. Really looking forward to this weekend.

It was fun. The level cap was a little low but besides that I enjoyed it. I have terrible connection and I don't think I lagged at all during it. It was overall a enjoyable experience :D
