Bungie Fans Excluded and Aggressive PlayStation Users

For the record: Most of this thread proves my point exactly.
This thread has received next to nothing but hate throughout this entire day. Mainly from PlayStation users doing exactly what I said they would. This forum used to be a better, cleaner place. Now that we've "introduced" this new group, all they have done is hate on anybody who makes a statement that doesn't praise Sony, or points out an issue.
The sub-thread is nothing short of full when it comes to personal and direct insulting, ad hominem bitching. Many people here think I am the troll. I am the problem. I am the one making the "issue." No. I am putting the issue forth right in front of everyone: A great many PlayStation users have done nothing but be complete and utter problems here - basically trying to deny people their basic rights.

3 通の返信Fun fact for you: -Sony owns Bungie now -Sony did NOT do what is commonly known as a bid and buy when acquiring Bungie(aka offer the company a large amount of money to buy them out) -In fact quite the opposite happened, Microsoft put Bungie up for sale. Microsoft did not want Bungie anymore. Sony bought them. Their owned by Sony and Microsoft burned them pretty bad, what do you expect?

The funniest part is xbox users moaning about bungie having ps exclusive content but forgetting halo was an xbox exclusive game! You all had a right laugh with that one i guess its time we do it back thats karma 👍

But I blame Xbox users too for going into a debate with ignorant stupid childish brats who have no clue what they're talking about. Xbox proved to be a solid system with an amazing online community. Not trying to appeal to anyone. But at 37, I act like my age. Grown up. And I respect everyone's right to choose and buy the console they like, and if anyone has a problem with that, he/she's a fking moron. Bungie grew up with Xbox community, and these exclusives are timed exclusives and don't add much to the game real value. Not to mention most of these exclusives are items that can be rewarded at random. Heck, I haven't seen any and I don't think I'll ever do any time soon. You may feel upset, betrayed, neglected; but in fact you're not. And you should overlook these few bad apples and be the bigger one.

Xbox users. You're so proud of supporting Xbox but they created this culture with Activision.. So as they say.. Reap What You.... Edit: Let me guess you were never proud you had Halo over PS users then too? Lol.. right. Insomniac went to Xbox with Sunset Overdrive do they owe PS fans an apology? What is with gamer entitlement? This thread makes me want to throw my Xbox 360 off a bridge. I am so ashamed I can't even look at it.

I play on ps4 and I have never once said a bad thing about xbox in fsct I own both but play destiny on PlayStation, even without the exclusives id play it on PlayStation. No I dont think its fair but I also dont thing your getting less for your money we are just getting more with sonys money.

I would rather have my Xbox regardless how much extra playstation gets. It's a good console, I'm just an Xbox guy. Not a huge deal. I figure they already have the Xbox crowd from halo, now bungie have to get the playstation crowd. Just be patient and enjoy the game, once the business part is over they will most assuredly give us something. (I hope) Till next time gamers! (Yes all platforms)

Anyways, what is 95% happening is that strike will go into the game next December for Xbox owners with the dlc, it was suppost to be you got nothing for a year, now you just miss a strike, so your rather lucky Second: things where going around that bungie is with Sony now, have no proof though. Third: Xbox gets a lot more then playstation has ever got, and we rarely ever complain. Yet you have to wait ones, you starts stuff on the equivalent of accusing them of breaking federal (not usa, so don't know if that's correct) law. Suck it up and grow a little Patciance Forth: yes the one year is ludicrous (who made that division and what where they on???) but that blow turned into a fraction of what it could be. Fiath: the ps community here is the calmest (mabey less to complain about...) and I rarly ever see one being a dush by rubbing it in, and the Xbox is starting pointless "petitions" and constely complaining about any flaw in the game [spoiler]if it's not evedent, I'm a ps player[/spoiler]

6 通の返信A few things to think about. Activision and Bungie informed everyone in their advertisements and information on how it will be with the timed exclusives. Yes, I do think a year is to long, but they didn't consult me. If you really wanted to protest it, you shouldn't have bought the game. If they see it was a bad business decision then it won't repeat. The idea PSN users are ruining the community is only your bias not fact. I've played many Halo matches online on my 360, enough to hear how hateful and whiny people are there. The main difference here isn't the console users but the content. Here we all can be using totally different weapons, some harder to get than others. People used to everyone having the same tools in a FPS require some adjustments when it's not the same. MMO players used to more content need to adjust to the more streamlined nature. People's attitudes in general have decayed. We chose how we respond to things, and this is just a game. Complaining about how unfair you perceive you're being treated, insulting others who disagree or threatening legal action isn't the solution. They won't add something to appease people when those same people already showed their support in paying them. Instead, try showing them how great of a community you are. Show them you still support them even if you are given the short end of the stick. Maybe they will want to reward the loyalty, maybe not. They will not reward you for attacking them and their community.

I have noticed that the Playstation is getting more stuff and such. =/ I have a 360 and may get a X1 in the future (cause all my friends have them :D), but I wish I did get a Playstation. Not for Destiny mind you, but for more single player offline games. I feel like the Xbox users will get something exclusive too. To be honest, if the next two expansions don't improve on, explain the story more, or simply hold my interest other than reaching level 32: I'm done! I mean about the only thing that keeps me playing Destiny now are: A. I keep getting new armor and weapons to level up B. I have nothing else to play at the present moment. C. Need to do Atheon's Raid and then play the future DLC. D. It's better than nothing. =/ Other than that, I feel like Bungie is on thin ice with Destiny, and I only hope they can find a way off that ice and onto solid land. =/

As far as the exclusiveness, there's nothing anyone can do anymore. I play on Xbox myself. But contracts are in place that say Sony gets certain content exclusive for a year from launch (until September 2015). While yes, I agree it sucks, its only 1 strike per dlc and a couple guns. That's not a ton of content. There's no point in complaining now as there is nothing bungie can do at this point. Also it is very likely that bungie didn't make this choice, but that Activision did. Activision is known for making choices solely based on profits.

I'm an Xbox user and really could care less about a couple guns, strike etc. It's a little annoying it's an entire year before this stuff drops. Who knows if I'll be playing then and how many more dlc and other weapons strikes will come out in the meantime making the Hawkmoon, etc. maybe not as good a year later ? But really who cares ? It's pixels.

Unfortunately anti-trust law has not been enforced since the 1970's, and the Roberts court is owned and has been working as hard as possible to dismantle anti-trust law from the bench. Someone with standing could potentially challenge this "arrangement" under 3 scenarios: 1 - Sony paid Bungie to cripple offerings to their competitor, microsoft (microsoft could sue sony for this). 2 - Bungie leveraged their monopoly on this title to gain market power in the unrelated market of consoles. (the DOJ and FTC could do this if they weren't funded by bribery). 3 - Sony and Bungie colluded to sabotage a third company, microsoft. (microsoft OR the DOJ and FTC could sue them both for this cartel behavior).

Grow up and get over your need to have everything you want. If you wanted the dlc, then you should have bought a ps4. End of story.
