(Rumor) Sony looking to buy Crytek
If they do, I hope they send some new developers. So Crytek can finally make a good game again.

Sony owns developers that produce far better games than Crytek. It's not like any of the Crytek IP's are hot. So license out CryEngine? Not really seeing that as they're a console manufacturer. If Crytek gets bought I'd wager that it's not going to be by a major publisher. Maybe Deep Silver or Warner Bros buys some pieces of the company as they are upstart publishers looking to burn some cash. Sony already owns a European developer that makes visually stunning so-so FPS games.

4 通の返信This would be a good move for them. The one thing Sony doesn't have in their first party is a good FPS and this would give them Timesplitters, Crysis and Homefront.
