Bungie needs to change their attitude about Destiny
In a recent Angry Joe interview, Angry Joe alludes to the fact that Bungie's success was created due to the Xbox community. He then asks if the Xbox users are going to get anything special rather than only a bunch of nobodies who have no history with Bungie getting all of the exclusives.
Deej's response was pitiful. "Well, we're making a game for the Xbox guys..." [in an arrogant tone]
No. Do not act like this is okay. You are not making a game [i]for[/i] the Xbox community - you are not "doing us a favor." Just because you put your garbage game to market on more platforms so that you can rake in the cash on overpriced games does not mean you are "giving" them something. You are shafting the Xbox community and this is clearly opaque to anyone with a brain. You have turned into a disgusting company. Not to mention that you totally play down the value of time in timed exclusives, as if the fact that everyone will eventually, one day, have equal access to all content makes up for the fact that time is of value. Please.

frankly im tired of seeing you post the fact is where were you when MS screwed bungie over halo? where were you when bungie had to sue ms ..... did you start a support group..... did you boycott ms products.... so stfu dude i played the alpha and i have been a bungie fan since they made rts games .... and i can with out a doubt sat that destiny is a love letter to the bungie commuinty its everty thing i ever wanted halo to be and more does it have problems yes is it perfect no ....the pvp anouncer for one is anoying bungie owes you nothing and defiitney not the xbox comunity that turned a blind eye to the treatment ms gave bungie fact is there would be no xbox with out bungie halo made the system in the first few gens be happy you even ge to play it becuase you dont deserve it

If the TV, sports and Kinect had taken a back seat to, you know, games, we might be in a very different place right now, referring both to console sales and what Bungie is doing. And hey, look what Microsoft has started doing as of late. Everything is taking a back seat to gaming. Sure the TV, sports and Kinect are still there, but they're referring to their gaming console as, well, a gaming console. Take cell phones for example. They've advanced to the point that they can do way more than just make and receive phone calls, but in the end, a phone is still marketed as a phone. You need quality phone service before anything else. Same goes with a gaming console. You can try to broaden your appeal, but in the end you are still trying to broaden your appeal via a gaming console. What has happened is all on Microsoft, and I'm not even talking about Bungie. The situation they're in right now is all on them. They tried to stray too far away from what people want out of their gaming console and they paid for it, in more ways than one. And Bungie had every right to look at what Microsoft was doing and decide to partner with Sony. Bungie doesn't owe anything to Xbox players. Its just childish and immature children that feel like they're entitled to so much when they're just plain not. Halo would have been great whether it was on Playstation or Xbox (or both). They simply chose to go with Xbox. Be glad that Bungie's partnership with Sony wasn't for Destiny to be a Playstation exclusive. If anything, think of Destiny being multi-platform as them giving you what you're owed (even though its completely untrue). They could have just as easily made Destiny a Playstation exclusive, but they didn't. And besides, Halo was completely exclusive to Xbox, but I never saw Xbox players saying give the game to Playstation so they can enjoy it too. Call of Duty has been giving Xbox players their DLC first for years and still nothing from Xbox players. However, when a game comes along that gives the Playstation version some exclusive stuff or some stuff early, now its a travesty. Don't get me wrong, so long as everyone is paying the same price, I think everyone should get the same content and at the same time, but unfortunately that's not how it is. If Playstation players were able to live with it, then Xbox players will live with it too. Or don't play the game. Whichever. And with the way the Xbox community is treating Bungie, don't be surprised if Bungie's next game is in fact a Playstation exclusive, and Xbox players would only have themselves to blame.

Bungie's success started on the MAC, not the Xbox (how many OS9/ Marathon/ Oni users do you see acting like the OP?). Bungie isn't "ignoring" you. You are getting the game on TWO Xbox platforms. TWO. Same as Sony. The difference is, a lot of old Sony fans don't have much experience with Bungie, other than Oni (a Bungie game that was on the Playstation before Halo was a thing). You are entitled to NOTHING. If you want Destiny, buy it. And buy it on the platform you like best. Enjoy it. Enjoy it and go, go forth and be entitled shitasses no more. Bungie doesn't [i]owe[/i] Xbox fans. They don't [i]owe[/i] Mac fans, or Playstation fans, or Apple Pipin fans. Bungie owes their success to making games people love and to BUNGIE fans. And BUNGIE FANS are not console exclusive.

They signed a contract with Activision that gave them money to develop and market the game ($500 million at last count), but in turn signed over all marketing to Activision. Frankly... it seems more like people just want to be angry, and not actually understand what's going on. There seems to be a sincere disconnect between proven information and the concerns issued from the xbox community.

Bungie owe's you nothing but a thank you for buying their games. Xbox didn't make Bungie, Bungie made the Xbox. Do you honestly think the Xbox would be in the position it's in right now if it wasn't for Bungie and Halo?

Seriously this is sad. They are a business and guess what businesses do whatever they can to make money. Youre stupid and ridiculous to think youre entitled to something because you own an xbox. Bungie is a cool company but theyre not your buddies and they dont need to give you anything for being a customer. Guess why bungie made xbox exclusive games because of money. Also the exclusives they get aren't even a big deal. OH WOW PS users get 5 days of ALPHA less than a sliver of the actual game, OH WOW they get a couple days early-access into a another UNFINISHED version of the game, OH WOW they get a map and mission that we get eventually too. Seriously shut the -blam!- up. The only thing you deserve is a punch in the face for being so damn annoying.

Games are actually cheaper now than they ever were when considering the value of money between N64 times and now. Also, Halo made xbox what it is today because Sony already had an established game setting before the Xbox, if halo had been multiplatform xbox wouldn't have had anything special. Bungie does not owe xbox gamers anything because they are a game making business, not xbox property. And God forbid Playstation gets something before xbox, it's not like xbox gets content before Playstation oh wait they get practically everything before playstation. Just because destiny seems like crap to you doesn't mean that that's what it is because your opinion is 1 in millions.

Go cry me a river. Bungie didn't succeed because of the xbox users. They succeeded because their games have all been good. They could have reached the same level of success making games on any other platform.

Halo has not been on a Playstation ever. They are doing you a favor. Just because you're not gonna have some exclusive to make you special does not mean you arent. Destiny doesnt have to come out for Xbox. Don't buy it if you don't like it
