Dark Souls Help Thread

6 通の返信I am lvl 100 and i only have the small summoning sign.i looked up how to get the large one and apparently you get it from the guy that sits in front of a trap after talking to him when you return after getting out of the area you've been trapped in. and i didn't know this at the time and some messages said he was an enemy so i assumed he trapped me in there, so i killed him and only got a spear. Is there another way to get the large white soapstone sign?

12 通の返信I just entered Blightstown today and I was prepared because mostly everyone says it's a horrible place to be. So far I haven't encountered anything hard. The enemies are pretty easy to kill and if you are poisened you just use some purple moss. I mostly use that when I get poisened down below in the swampy part. I usually can jump to land before I get poisened, then I can spare purple moss! :) So is Blightstown only hard in the end? Because from the beginning to the swamp area down below I had no problems at all. The only thing that has killed me was falling to my death because I jumped wrong.

It's happened once or twice in other areas, but it always happens when I enter Blighttown from either entry point... Why? I should also note, that I have the digital version and when I try to load my save, it pops up again during the loading screen after selecting the save or it loads and puts my back in the spot where it froze and freezes again not even a minute later...

3 通の返信Guys, I'm having real difficulty beating Sif the wolf in DarkRoot Garden. I've heard the best strategy is just to stay under him and then hit him, but it doesn't work well for me. He keeps jumping away. And then he suddenly attacks me with a sword swing that goes twice around. The 2nd hit makes my health go down a lot. I can only get him to nearly half his health until I am out of Estus Flasks and then die. He keeps hitting me and jumping away! DX

3 通の返信Lol I just used the infinite item glitch and I'm basically unstoppable, when I can't kill something I just level up some more! Hahahaha!!

First boss I beat without summoning an npc or doing something cheesy (like throwing bombs at the Capra demon before I even enter the room >.>). Something I realized with her is that it's actually harder when you summon Maneater Mildred 'cause you can't take advantage of Que's blindspots. :3

8 通の返信Alright Flood, complete Dark Souls noob here. How much of a noob? Well, you know that part (I think it's part of the firelink shrine area) where you're in a ruined castle area, with a shrine in a square tower, where the main enemies are pretty basic zombies until you find the boss on the top of the walls? Yeah, the one right near the beginning of the game. I can't beat it. [spoiler]inb4 gut gud. I know I suck, that doesn't really help[/spoiler] I can count the number of times I made it to the boss on one finger (I actually made it three times, but the other two involved aggroing something I shouldn't have and getting 1-shotted. Even when I do make it, those firebomb throwers usually have me down to my last estus by the time I get there. So my question is, what am I doing wrong ( if anyone has [i]any[/i] idea at all). How do I git gud?

23 通の返信Okay, so I just watched a short video of something that confuses me. The person opened a door with her mystery key. It was the door located in the church of the undead. When you go up the stairs you fight a knight of some sorts, and then a whole group of hollows. Then you go left into a hallway and kill another knight. Then there's some wooden planks that you can smash through. If you then go up the stairs in that room there is this door. Now in the video of the person playing there is a guy behind that door. And she opened the door with her mystery key. Now when I go up there I don't see anyone behind those doors. Even though there should be someone. And I own the mystery key, but can't open the door. It's not even giving me the option to press A to receive a message like "door locked". Just nothing.. Is this a bug? Or do I need to open that door from the other side?

7 通の返信How can I kill the Moonlight butterfly? I can't hit him, and I don't have strong arrows or anything. Or bows for that matter.. I'm a melee guy, so.. is it possible for me to kill it?

4 通の返信Hey I have a question. I'm not sure if I cheated or not.. Okay, so there is this elevator that goes up from the Firelink shrine to the undead chruch. Now, when you're going up or down with the elevator you can jump on a roof near the bottom of the firelink shrine part. From there I jumped on a ledge thing and rolled towards the window. I saw a body on the roof which held an Asylum key. I picked it up and stuff. And then I went up the stairs and found the nest of that huge crow. That crow took me back to the asylum and I killed two black knights there. And the Stray demon keeps owning me. Did I use a shortcut, or is that how you get to the crows nest in Firelink shrine?

1 返信Does anybody know how to run when it's not letting me. It keeps making me stop all the time and I don't know how to fix it and it keeps getting me killed.
