"If I could go anywhere in the world, that place would be home," Snowden said.
Snowden, infamous for increasing awareness for the NSA and set the ball rolling for people to demonize and completely despise them, wants to come home. Other than exposing the NSA's overreach of power, Obama decided to join ranks with Snowden to try and curb the power of the NSA, with little to no work due to Congress's gridlock.
Your opinion on this? Other than Kerry being a dick about this, I'd say that Obama would most likely grant Snowden amnesty were Congress to actually reform the NSA's guidelines and power.

HurtfulTurkeyにより編集済み: 5/29/2014 7:27:49 AMThe guy stole secrets, and probably sold them. Doesn't really matter if he wants to go home, because he's never going to live in America or any country that will extradite ever again. The Obama Administration didn't side with him; Snowden's still wanted for treason.

He did the right thing. He didn't expose anything that would harm any person, the military, anything like that. The Government is obviously claiming he did all these thing, but offer no proof. He IS a Patriot, and deserves to be back in his home country without fear of imprisonment. The right thing to do, is sometimes the hardest thing to do.
inb4 obama wants to treat him like a war criminal and persecute him as one

Obama would most likely grant Snowden amnesty
Obama would have already pardoned him if he honestly is on Snowden's side. He has the sole executive privilege to do so but has not. That doesn't make sense.
