Was 9/11 an Inside Job?
I'm not even trying to shit bait, this is a serious discussion.
There is some pretty compelling evidence to back up the theory.

I never understood conspiracy theories like this. To pull of such a thing, the US government would have to be functionally efficient, with a large number of people not only doing their job right but also not talking. I don't buy it.

Without going into all the backstory about bin Laden and Al Qaeda, which is worth learning about but difficult because I'm on my phone, I just want to point out that the government knew a legitimate and significant terrorist attack was imminent sometime that year. But that's it. No dates, no location, nothing. The truth is never as dramatic as some want to believe; what happened was that America was blindsided by a well-orchestrated attack that was planned for well over a year, secretly funded by an incredibly wealthy and influential individual. And if the conspiracy was true, how could you justify staying here? If the government purposefully murdered 3,000 citizens, would you be so weak willed that all you do is comment about it on forums and stamp your feet angrily?

Nope. Common sense proves it couldn't have been. Simply the work of some disgusting Islamist extremists and extremely incompetent CIA and FBI personnel who were so arrogant about info sharing that they cost over 3000 lives.

Ironically, Encyclopedia Dramatica's 9/11 article covers a pretty large base of information for the conspiracy theorist's side. ("The best troll is the one that speaks the truth" was their philosophy in that page.) Check it out.

Seeings how people are apparently (and strangely) taking the merits of a 9/11 conspiracy very seriously, I feel inclined to post the following: No, the attacks were [i]not[/i] preplanned by any other than al-Qaida and, if the "government" (I use quotes because people assume so much more about the government than is true in reality) had known about a plot at all, the intended targets were far from clear and could have feasibly been any structure from one side of the country to the other. Hence, that is why I previously posted "No Lol" and am sticking by that comment.

6 通の返信Does it even matter? It started a horrible war and caused the needless privacy infringement of millions; whether the arseholes responsible were members of the US government or Al-Qaeda is completely irelevant compared to what happened afterwards.
