Where Do the Awoken Come From?
Why are they fighting alongside humans and Exos?
I'm curious because this race really appeals to me, and I think an Awoken Hunter would be very cool.

The Awoken are surviving (but not unscathed) members of the Collapse. The Awoken were once human, but after being subjected to enough radiation and energy, they were changed, giving them their ghastly look. Otherwise, they're the same as humans.
