Referencing the latest gameplay trailer, I felt there was not a sense of urgency in the players mission.
Players walked point blank up to enemies and blasted them with their god guns and super powers without any worry.
I am sure you may have just been playing at the easiest difficulty to keep yourself from dying repeatedly, (though some of you still managed to do that, [perhaps to show us how the death/respawn mechanic works just once?]) as well as keeping the pace moving smoothly rather than if you were to be playing on Total Carnage and having to constantly wait behind walls to recharge your health for every bullet you ate that took you down to a pinch. (Also breaking the flow of the recording you wish to show us)
But even still, no matter what difficulty, this is just a classic hack and slash adventure with overpowered heroes, without any real threat or danger to give players a challenge. So more like a run and gun game but it's just, walk and gun.
My first impressions when I saw the concept art for Destiny so long ago, was that I expected a BEAUTIFUL immersive game, with more wonder and adventure than your previous titles.
The art, look and feel of the concepts just does not match the end product. It's no longer the GRITTY dungeon crawling sci-fi medieval fantasy with awe and wonder. It's a cartoon world without a true feel of space travel and it cannot have dire danger dungeons with those non-leathal unintimidating low poly plush toys you call enemies.
The Marathon trilogy was amazing for its time with 8 player coop and intense run and gun in 3d and subtle but massive storyline. The Halo trilogy was a fresh hit that brought gaming into the future and showed what multiplayer was all about! Then Destiny... is not really massive multiplayer and does not allow me to travel the stars and fly in a spaceship the way I hoped.
The action adventure is severely lacking.
All these games set in space and you still have not made the game where the player can travel the stars where no other player has.
You may have failed to dominate the world I am afraid.
HERE IS MY SUGGESTION TO IMPROVE YOUR FORMULA:
Your next attempt, I suggest you try the theme, Lewis and Clark/Oregon Trail in space.
Make us fleshy with limited resources and allow us to travel and map the uncharted unknown with as many of our friends as we would like to crew our ships. The best way to confront an enemy or obstacle, is to outsmart or outrun it and rarely ever should it be to outgun it, but do leave that last resort option in.
There should be great reward and greater strife and then even GREATER reward with some more strife.
A spaceship game requires full access to spaceships.
Try that, then get back to us.

Its harder than you think. They were probably on the freeroam old russia mode in the alpha which was recommended for levels 2-3. Very simple but lots of fun. When you got to level 6 you would/could go into a strike and then thats when things get difficult. Hiding, flanking, and even falling back just trying not to go down.

RAMPANCY You truly do not know what you're talking about. There's no way you have played Destiny, You watch some YouTube videos, and try to tell people whats bad about Destiny. Next time played the game before you spew a bunch of nonsense. RAMPANCY

4 通の返信Haha this game was never the type of game you imagined or wanted it to be in the first place. I mean that can happen when you set your hopes on concept art. Oh well. That's why they're other game choices, like No Man's Sky as you said. No need to get mad at him for not liking a game guys.

5 通の返信"They told us everything." Clearly you did not play the alpha, and they have literally not shown us anything yet. The alpha was less then 5% of the game, the beta will be slightly more. Play the release after 9/9 then come back to this thread. And it's FPS, not a space ship adventure game.
