I was poking around Deviant Art yesterday, and was exploring their 'DA points' concept. Basically it's a currency localized to their community. Points can be used to buy prints of artwork, award tradeable badges to your favorite artists, and a few other things. I know that Bungie Pro is coming back, and integrating something like this into Bnet/the Bungie Store would be amazing! So basically render minutes and points could be the same thing, they are a currency that exists between the users and Bungie. The most powerful non-media use I could think of would be [b]the ability to gift Destiny DLC to friends using a different platform[/b], this would be absolutely amazing. If points had the ability to buy Bungie Schwag from the Bungie Store, it would be all the more amazing, though I know it's usually easier when everything involved is digital. It would be amazing for groups as well, make a library of purchasable page themes or something. :D [b]Under no circumstances make personal status increase with point usage, this would only be for groups[/b]. Another little bonus would be the capability to tip users for making quality posts, though I'd prefer it was anonymous. So Bungie, tradeable points pl0x?
