I don't mean to be "that guy". But I feel like I am alone in liking bands like Vildhjarta, Corelia, Periphery, Erra, Veil of Maya, The Contortionist, on Bnet.
Not really a fan of Death/Black/Power metal.
Edit: Gojira, Deftones, Glass Cloud, Born of Osiris, The Safety Fire, and Northlane are more things I listen to.

Um, no. You most definitely aren't the only one on bnet that listens to those bands (hell, just two days ago I made a thread about Aal's new album but no one gave a rat's ass). I just wanted to make a thread about death metal specifically, but by no means is it the only genre I like or even my favorite for that matter.

I see a lot of music threads and nobody ever talks about any of the bands I listed above. Animals As Leaders is another band I like actually. I wish there was gear threads. I kinda wanna nerd out with fellow musicians on here, I'd probably participate more.

You don't post enough then. I can think of several users that like some of the bands you like, they just don't mention them. And I'd make gear threads but 1. I hardly have any gear And 2. Since this isn't a guitar forum, typically no one gives a shit (no one usually gives a shit about my threads in the first place though).
