At the Kennedy Space Shuttle Runway, a Hennessy Venom GT reached an independently verified GPS indicated speed of 270.49 MPH ( 434 kph for the metrc folk).
To put that into perspective, that car at 270 mph will cross the length of an American football field in about .08-0.9 of a second.
It would have been a blast to be in the passenger seat on that ride, or even at the helm.
SO, who wants to chip in for a Flood Hennesy Venom GT?

Yeah but can the average American fit in one? Also it's a redesigned lotus, it's also not production so you fat shits can't compare it to a Bugatti.

Just to add to the thread The car is essentially a stretched lotus chassis with a twin turbo LS7 strapped to it. A budget way to do this is to buy a used Z06 and build it up. Mind you it'd cost a lot of money, but it wouldn't get near the million dollar price tag of the Venom.

>Fastest car on Earth Yeah, no. Either you've been misinformed or you like to stretch things far out of proportion... The HV GT is the fastest street legal car.

Even though it is cool, I still find the Veyron more impressive. I don't like it but god is the engineering brilliant.
