The Order: 1886
I dunno. This game is looking to be really mediocre to me. Sure, steampunk elements set in a 1886 TPS seems cool, but it just looks like it plays like GoW. Cool visuals are one thing, but from the 1-2 minutes of gameplay I've seen it doesn't look like anything special. And it doesn't even have a multiplayer component. I hope they aren't expecting people to fork out $60 for a singleplayer-only game.

I beat GoW 1&2 countless times. Beat the 3rd twice and Judgment once. If this game has a good story and fun play, I'll pay $60 for it. But honestly, I really hope to see this game do well then get a sequel with multiplayer. This is Ready at Dawn's first original game and they want to do it right, maybe in a few years they'll be confident enough to craft a fun, balanced multiplayer.

I really prefer single player games now, but I actually have to agree with what you've said. The visuals of the game are awesome, the Steampunk theme is something I love, the game may have a great story, but unfortunately, the gameplay looks rather bland in my opinion.

my friends were watching a trailer and getting hype about it me not so much, i like the setting but there was not much to work with on the gameplay front so i don't really have much of a opinion on it but would like for them to release a full gameplay trailer.

It doesn't matter how good the story is if there isn't any co-op or competitive multiplayer component then it should only be $39.99. The game does look good though.

2 通の返信I completely agree. It has very pretty graphics but that means nothing when the gameplay is linear and filled with QTEs and cutscenes.

Badmanにより編集済み: 2/21/2014 6:31:41 AMlove the hash tags There is really no way to judge the game yet.... after all we saw 20 seconds of shooting that looked like.... shooting along with one new take on a quick time event but those are rare in shooters it doesn't give any insight into combat. We didn't get to see anything about the primary enemy the halfbreed things or what it would be like to fight them. Basically the trailer was just a yes the game does look that good now you don't get to see anything.

There are plenty games that are SP only, and were full price, yet nobody complains about them. There loads of people who would buy this, as they prefer SP over MP. Just because you don't., doesn't mean everyone else doesn't.
