Do you remember way back when? I certainly do. What an exciting day that was, and what an exciting year it has been! And with only 204 days left until Destiny's release, our pre-launch journey certainly isn't over yet.
At this moment of great adventure and peril, I feel that it's important to reflect upon the past. What was your fondest Destiny memory from the previous year? What are you looking forward to most from the next?

1 返信This is very depressing but I have to say releasing the beta at the same time as Titanfall really isn't that smart so they get a pass for letting everyone down. I just hope the beta launches really early into the summer

My fondest memory is definitely the first time The Nova Bomb was thrown in the E3 demo, it was incredibly satisfying to see Bungie back up all their space magic teasing with a good old fashioned fireball, even if it was purple.

3 通の返信I miss the mystery. I don't know why but my imagination just makes things seem so amazing until I actually see it. I always imagine things to be better than they actually will be.

That was the day I joined Bungie.net! Over the past year, my excitement has died down a little since there hasn't been much to see lately. But it's starting to grow again the closer we get to launch. Plus the forums have been shitty since E3, with a few exceptions.

3 通の返信Being relatively easy to please my best times from the past year + a week would have to be the week leading up to and including the reveal, the design process revealed during the GDC presentation, and the first few tours of Old Russia. Each providing significant new amounts of information and visuals of the game. Looking forward to similar occurrences this year including (from a personal learning standpoint) their character and animation talks scheduled for GDC, the summer beta, and obviously the September launch (as well as the following months and years). Looking forward to having my expectations met and surpassed in as many ways as possible. In the meantime I will be keeping an eye out for the inevitable tidbits that make their way to the public. (Watching today as well for the suspected drop of information mentioned in another thread)

When I saw the demo at E3. I had heard of destiny but never saw anything about it until then. When I saw how big the world was after they made if through the wall and that giant space ship took out the tower.... I said, "yes...so much yes."

The period between the GDC and E3 was my favorite, as we had just enough to go off of that we could start making wild speculation, which is always super fun. My hype has decreased exponentially since then, unfortunately.
