I want destiny to be as reasonably realistic as possible. One of the things that would make it somewhat realistic is to get rid of instant respawning. Players should feel like staying alive is worth it, they should be forced to think about their tactics seriously. That's why I think there should be a 24 spawn system.
Basically if you die, you can't respawn for another 24 hours. This would add a lot of depth to the game as it forces people to completely rethink their tactics. It would also be a nice touch if the player loses any rare items they had equipped at the time of death. What do you guys think of this idea?

1 返信Spawning after 24 hours?? Dude don't be a coward! It should be, If you die you lose your entire character and you gotta start all over from the beginning! Now that's a mans game!

1 返信I dont support this for destiny but if you want this feature there are MineCraft servers that do this. You could also play Skyrim (or better yet, this game) and just stop playing when you die.

I think the best way to do this would not to increase the respawn time but to add a mass exp. loses every time you die, to the point where you could actual go neg. in exp if all you did was run around and die. They could start off normal amount of points loses and let it multiply every time if you keep playing reckless. If they want to make it ever harder they could also de-level you, but that would become an issue with gear and what not. I think this would make players act a bit differently about game play.

In my opinion, the best way to implement a system like this would be to create a sort of "hardcore" experience. Kind of like games like Diablo do. Create a separate server where everyone there is on a "hardcore" setting and have restrictions on spawning. Maybe you can only get certain loot on those servers that you can't get on the others, but the main purpose is really bragging rights. If I can get to level 20 or even clear the Vault of Glass without dying, you know I'm a badass.

2 通の返信Terrible, in order to make it so people don't just rage quit the game they would have to nerf the crap out of enemies, because not everyone is going to be a superstar at this game, and someone who is not all that good? Not so great at the game, just started, whoops, got killed by a world event NPC. Guess you just suck, you can go back onto the game every 24 hours to prove that you suck and never get any better because you can only play for a little bit til you die everyday.

What do you guys think of this idea?[/quote] I think they should keep it because then fire teams wouldn't really work, and they already have that when you go into a darkness zone, and no one would want to play a game where if you die you can't play for 24 hours

Resistance Fall of Men 2 , was epic in the Multiplayer as a Solo Sniper with NO other people around.. hard as -blam!-, and no healing and no respawn if killed.. despite i managed to clear most of the Multiplayer maps solo.. was kinda awesome..
