I want destiny to be as reasonably realistic as possible. One of the things that would make it somewhat realistic is to get rid of instant respawning. Players should feel like staying alive is worth it, they should be forced to think about their tactics seriously. That's why I think there should be a 24 spawn system.
Basically if you die, you can't respawn for another 24 hours. This would add a lot of depth to the game as it forces people to completely rethink their tactics. It would also be a nice touch if the player loses any rare items they had equipped at the time of death. What do you guys think of this idea?

1 返信How about if you die, your console fires the disc at you as punishment. That would probably make me wanna be a bit more careful.

If you want it to be so realistic, why not do it in real life? If all video games were super realistic, then that would defeat the purpose of video games. It's like saying you any rewind a movie and you can only watch it once in your entire life.

Long term or permanent death is severely unrealistic and broken. Great, skilled people even die bc of small mistakes... The game would tank, and Activision, Bungie, and everyone who bought the game will have wasted alot of money. Repetition and dying repeatedly is what's building your skill. Persistent opportunity. This idea won't uphold any kind of game or developer's revenue for a particular software ever... Common sense? Topic post for lols?
