Hate is a strong word, but it can get annoying - especially when you have a shitty teacher. Self-education is oftentimes enjoyable but having someone else that can help you goes a long way towards retention of difficult theories and formulas (or is it formulae?).

I liked math and minute calculations are my kind of thing. But I found that the people who teach you the math are the most important part of math itself. I went through 3 or 4 semesters of math in college and only passed two of the courses, both taught by the same instructor; and Iits not because the material was difficult, its because the other two instructors were making it difficult.

1 返信Accounting math? I like it. Full blown academic math? God I hated that stuff. I'm never going to see trigonometry, quadratics, derivatives, or integration even again. Last time I even used that stuff in class was my first year math course.

12 通の返信I'm decent at it but it is the dumbest subject. Well, at least algebra and geometry, which has so far not helped me in the slightest in real world problems

I am quite good at math (so far in college, I have taken precal-cal 3 and engineering math and gotten an A in them with very little effort). Additionally, as long as I dont have to deal with graphs, I can typically get an adrenaline rush from doing it. So yes, am good, and love it. Unfortunately, I am done with pure math courses for my degree, so I just have to rely on the math coming from other less pure classes.

3 通の返信I'm pretty bad at it. Ever since 6th grade up, I've been getting worse and worse scores on my state test.
