1. [b]Terran[/b] has the most difficult [i]combat micro[/i] of any race. They are also the most counter inefficient, with heavy scouting required to construct your force.
2. [b]Zerg[/b] has the most difficult [i]base micro[/i] of any race. They also have the most predictable builds.
3. [b]Protoss[/b] are just damned slow. Terran can easily toss Protoss with [i]Bomber's 1-Rax FE[/i] into a overwhelming MMM ball. And Zerg can outmacro them with careful defense.
It's pretty balanced.

Yeah Protoss/Terran can predict that Zerg is obviously going to either Broodlords or Swarm Hosts, but they don't know which until they see those units, and in order to tech switch to something that can counter those units (and all counters suck at countering them) will cost more money than the Zerg having Swarm Hosts or Broodlords. The obvious counter to Broodlords for example would be to go Sky Terran, but by that time Zerg already has a shitload of Corruptors, Zerg can just shoot everything out of the sky.

Also, a macro zerg going for Brood or Swarm can be vulnerable to early/mid harrass. You can also slide into early Banshee pressure if he's skipping Spore Crawlers. I like Banshee's vs. a 3 Hatch (1 natural) because generally they can't get all 3 Spored before your first two banshee's. I've also gone TechMech 1-1-1 into Siege Tanks to counter [i]Baneling Busts [/i]and [i]Roaches[/i], though you really have to watch for a the inevitable Muta-ball around 11-12 minutes.
