Does it bother you that the kids here use the word phaggot all the time as if they are 13 years old?

Lolno, I'm bi and I use it all the time, just part of my wide vocabulary of profanity. The term is only offensive if we give it the power to offend us. Offense is taken not given, a word is just a word, nothing more, nothing less.

I usually write off most republicans as mentally disturbed, irrationally fearful, hate-filled, brainwashed, and/or plain stupid when it comes to opposing gay rights like marriage and equal protections in the work place, so that usually doesn't bother me either (it does in the sense that this mindset was able to develop so far, but I'm not bothered by these people because I know why they think that way).

It's just a matter of time. In every society (every western society) people become slowly less hateful in the passing generations. Yeah, the wait sucks but inevitability is always preferable to uncertainty when it comes to good things.
