Games are getting [b]more expensive to make[/b] every year. To make up the money for the cost of creating the games they will begin [b]holding back more and more content[/b]. Eventually there will be no "good" microtransactions.

[b]I do not want to see them go...[/b][b]I love going to midnight launches.[/b]..but whats the point if more and more content is being held back from games making a $60 purchase not worth it?

I somewhat agree. Games are a lot larger than they were so I would assume it costs more to make them. On one hand you have studios going out of business. On the other hand you have some that feel that a snack bar, nap area, etc is what the business needs (unnecessary costly items).
I do feel that some studios have budgets that far exceed what is needed. I mean look at Metro Last Light. The amount that was put into that game was peanuts compared to most AAA titles. Do some of these companies need to tighten their belts rather than blame it on used games? I think in part yes.
