This happened back in December 2004. Exactly one month after the release of Halo 2. It was Saturday. I was on Xbox playing online with some of my friends. We did CTF. BTB. TS. It was all really fun. When the clock hit 12:00 my friends got tired and went to sleep. Besides one my friends. "Josh" He stayed up and played with me more. After a while Josh got hungry. And told me he was going to be AFK for a couple minutes. I said Ok. And continued playing the game. Suddenly we get into game of BTB on Waterworks. Waterworks was my favorite map. So I was happy. As soon as the game starts I run upstairs for the banshee. One my team mates already took it. Well the others took the rest of the vehicle. So I had to go on foot. When I was walking I saw one of the enemy team holding at beam rifle. So before I got sniped I ran for the caves. Suddenly I see an All Black Spartan weaponless at the corner of the cave. I thought it was weird. Because the game was Red vs Blue. Not black. And he had no weapons. I looked up at his head to see if he had a name. No name. Suspicious. But I brushed it off. And walked over to him. I stared directly at his visor. Suddenly he looks up at me. After that I get lagged out of the game. I was sent back to lobby. Then suddenly I get an Xbox Live message from Anonymous saying "I am a monument to all your sins" A quote by the character The Gravemind from the Halo 2 campaign. After I read the message. Josh came back. I told Josh about everything that happened when he was gone. He thought I was joking. But I was not... But that wasn't the end. After a while I seen the Black Spartan in other halo games too. Such as Halo 3, Halo: Reach, And Recently Halo 4. Not a lot people know about the Black Spartan. He has only been sited by a couple of people. The Black Spartan was also cited in the Halo: Reach campaign. Inside of the pillar of autumn. I don't know who or what this Black Spartan is. But I will never forget that dreadful Saturday night....
