So, I am a professing Christian, which is cause for conflict enough on these forums. And I've always considered myself a fairly good person but I had a conversation with my father last night who was a pastor and is getting "re-certified" to preach again. We got into homosexuality and he called me a heretic for my views. I believe science and God can and should live in harmony. So, I was explaining to him why I thought Homosexuality might be a choice, why macro-Evolution supports the Theory of Evolution, and how life on other planets could exist. No matter what I said he would reply "That's just a lie from Satan" or "You've been hoodwinked by Beelzebub". Now, my question to other religious Floodians is have you ever gotten into a tiff with other Christians over unpopular beliefs you hold regarding Christianity?
