1 返信Ive been to 2 Halo 4 I went to and was like the 10th in line. I arrived at alike 10:00. I was not with anyone so it was kind of lame because there was no tournament, and they just gave away skylanders posters. CoD: BO2 I went to at 12:30 and the line was pretty much dead, I only had to wait for like 3 people in front of me. If you have no one to go with I would go this route.

I've been to 5 or 6. I have been to 2 this year. Near my college is the university village. Pretty much shitty overpriced to good, but sell you soul to afford living, and a bunch of shops. Which most of the food restaurants offer discounts if you present your student ID. There is a Gamestop there among it all. I like it more than the ones I've been to in the past. I never went to this location because I don't live near university village. I like it more because there are less teens and kids. Plus the guy at the counter usually gives me pre-order codes/stuff even if I didn't pre-order and just come in for a day 1 or week 1 buy. Quality service....from a Gamestop.

Not that there's anything wrong with nerds... I just didn't want to be surrounded by them. Well, it ends up it wasn't like that at all. Most of the people there were pretty cool, and me and my friends had a great time hanging out with them. There were even some pretty attractive ladies. Hubba, hubba ;)

ODST I'll never do it again, it was pointless. Wait in line with a myriad of Mom's with their unruly 9 year olds who should have been in bed because it was a school night, and other people who really didn't want to be there, just wanted the game.

Midnight releases are really subjective. - Whether or not the store makes a big deal out of it. - Who you bring with you. Friendly, easy-going. - The general energy of the crowd. I live in a part of town that isn't full of young kids. So for me the crowd is older, really relaxed, and generally social/talkative.

I went to pick of Super Smash Bros Brawl at midnight. I went a couple hours beforehand and there was a line. Some dude was dressed as Luigi, but other than that, it was just a line of regular people. I ended up leaving immediately, and stopping back by at 12:15 and picking up the game. I didn't stay for the tournaments or whatever, since those were before midnight.

I feel they are over rated . Plus its cheaper to buy from online retailers like Amazon these days. But if you have friends going with you, it should be fun. Think tailgating outside Gamestop or whatever retailer it is.

i went to skyirms, and halo 2, 3, and 4. i usually bring monsters or mountain dews with my brother or friend (whoever im there with) and we chill. all u need to know is when you get there, go into the store and pay-off the pre-order(if you need to) and they hand you a slip with your number on it. at 10-5 minutes to midnight everyone will get in a line and you gotta walk down it and find your position. its actually pretty fun, i found some new friends that i game with at midnight releases.

1 返信If you are going to do it make it an event... don't go just to go. That probably doesn't make sense, I guess what I'm trying to say is if you go alone it gets quite boring. Just standing in a line doing nothing. Go with a few buddies or something and order pizza or something. I have been to around 5 or so midnight launches and about 3 of them I regret because I went alone and did pretty much nothing.
