GTA V thoughts
This thread can be nitpicks of what you like or don't like about the game thus far. Obviously, I didn't establish this thread to pre judge the game before it's released. It's just a vent to see what you aspects you guys like the look of/don't like the look of.
For me, the multiplayer looks incredible. The map extensive and the characters look intrinsically interesting. However the 3 character switch thing looks a bit gimmicky, and the combat looks fairly similar to Max Payne. This could obviously play out differently in the final product though.

Not sure how I'm gonna feel about the 3 characters, that'll be somehow that I have to wait to play it for (Obviously). But if the combat is anything like Max Payne 3s, I'm happy. The gunplay was tight and better than any previous Rockstar game. I'm excited for Rockstar finally giving me character customization that I've been dreaming of. San Andreas was the last game Rockstar REALLY gave us a truckload of customization options. I'll probably spend 1/3 of my time playing MP customizing my character.

I like the idea of switching between characters and being able to do so at any time. The multiplayer heavily focuses on team play and giving freedom and diversity to players. The Content creator is a must have if more developers gave us the tools to edit our own games we would be much happier (It's one of the main reasons Halo did so well in the community when they came out with the Forge feature in Halo 3). It's not an MMO and yet if has features that imitate it. I also like that they are rewarding players with currency in the game that you can use to really customize your character and since its a 3rd person action game you can see the changes first hand. Many people that I've talked too are planning on getting the game but a few like others on here have told me they aren't really interested in GTA 5 because they feel it's just another run of the mill Grand theft auto game but it looks like it's going to be much more than that I encourage anyone who has doubts to watch the gameplay trailers Rockstar has released these past months.

SnowboundSquidにより編集済み: 9/3/2013 2:40:08 PMmax payne 3 had excellent combat and i'm glad to see gta5 is similar. michael even has bullet time as a special ability. the only thing i don't like about it so far is that there is no pc version announced yet. gonna be playing it on xbox in the meantime.

The combat should be exactly like Max Payne - both are made by Rockstar, and reviewers and gamers enjoyed the gunplay of Max Payne 3 so integrated it fully into GTA V. Honestly, I'm not too bothered about GTA V. I'm sure it will get good reviews like all of the other games, but they don't change enough between games for me to be interested in it. I disliked GTA IV, so hopefully this will be different to it.
