I wanna say Metal Gear Solid 4. I'm a huge fan of the Metal Gear series, and it disappointed me greatly. But I'm not gonna say MGS4. Even though the game had way too many cutscenes (even for a Metal Gear game), even though it lost much of its steam after Act 2, and even though the epilogue was complete and utter bullshit, it's not the worst offender. Nope, the worst would be... *drum roll* Mass Effect 3. I don't even know where to start with it. I don't even want to start with it again. Let me just put it like this: When you can make Mass Effect 2 look like a godsend of a game in comparison, you've done something horribly wrong.

1 返信TDU2. It added shit like license test and tried to add a story to a racing game. You don't do that in a free roam arcade racer like tdu.

*Looks at thread* It's not even worth saying what I was going to say. Everyone already proved my point. I have yet to be dissapointed by a game. Reach was pretty darn close, but I still got a crap ton of fun out of it. Over-hyped would definitely be Destiny without a doubt.

1 返信Battlefield 3. Up to release, even I thought it was going to be the best game in a long long time. I played the beta, which blew my mind. The game didn't necessarily fall flat upon release, but still disappointed me. Dice showcased all these massive maps, but the second you play a match in one, the game dies out. Then they kept focusing on making larger and larger maps, but never on the players that filled them. imo BF3 bought bigger shoes than it could fill.

BerzerkCommandoにより編集済み: 8/17/2013 10:48:20 PMGTA 4. Reach and Halo 4 were really disappointing to me, but I had that feeling since Halo 2 so it wasn't as big as GTA 4. I was use to Halo deteriorating in each game. Both Vice City and San Andreas I enjoyed playing. San Andreas was a major improvement over Vice City. The soundtrack wasn't as great, but everything else was. We got all of this content like chracter customization, car modding and marathons. Pretty much every mission to the game I enjoyed playing and liked. The map was pretty much the greatest thing to the game. We went from just having a city to all of these environments. -Cities. -Towns. -Urban areas. -Shacks. -Farm county. -Forest. -Dessert. -Each of the main cities has a different environment and culture to it. Then GTA 4 came out and killed it for it. We went from a game that added a bunch of things and a large map with lots of environments. To a game that was more of a down grade than improving. -They removed the hunger system. -They removed car modding. -They removed character customization like haircuts and the gym. -They removed the character skill system. -They pretty much removed cloth shopping. -They removed marathons. -They removed airplanes. -They removed the weapon verity. The only thing it is now is some generic system. By that I mean look at the AK-47 and the 9mm. They are considered low tier weapons. Then you have their counter parts with is the M16 and desert eagle. So instead of having verity they just upgrade the most generic weapons you can have in a game with more generic weapons. -The list goes on and on. The story was just boring. Both GTA and San Andreas had verity to the missions. In GTA 4 it's pretty much the same mission set up. Then there's the boring ass map. We went from having environments to a map that's just city. There's nothing else to it but city. Every block pretty much looks the same. And too make it even worse the map is smaller than San Andreas.

OmegaCircuitにより編集済み: 8/17/2013 6:05:45 PMMass Effect 3. Other than certain aspects of the Genophage story arc, the Citadel DLC and the soundtrack, there's nothing else I really like about it. May elaborate a little more on this later, but I can't be bothered right now...

1 返信Halo 4.....just....Halo 4.... I don't think I need to say much more than that :/ The story was just appalling with how much it disregarded previous canon or neglected to even try explaining important things.

As much as I hate to say it; Mass Effect 3. The trilogy's quality goes something like this. Narrative: Mass Effect > Mass Effect 3 > ME2. Gameplay: ME3 > ME2 > ME ( only because mako missions get stuffed down your throat). Character Selection and Development: ME2 > ME > ME 3.
