I went to Gamestop yesterday and if you think you're experiences at that store are bad, you haven't seen anything yet after you hear the horror I went through. I walked into the store, got the game I was looking for and got in line to buy it. When I got the salesperson, I gave them the game and had the audacity to ask:
"Do you have a PowerUp Rewards card?"
Indeed I did, so I handed it to her. But then she asked if I wanted to pre-order any new games like the next Call of Duty. I said no.
So I bought my game then I left.
What -blam!-ing monsters I swear.

They are just animals there. 2 years ago, my best friend became an employee at a local Gamestop. I haven't talked to him since. No, but seriously, I don't understand the hate they get. I walk in, purchase a game and all they do is ask me if I would like protection on the game. I always say no, and they say farewell and I leave.

I don't understand all the hate that GameStop gets. The employees at my local GameStop are usually pretty knowledgeable on games, and don't cram deals down my throat every time I walk into the store. I even play LoL with some of them from time to time.
