Recently had a two and a half hour game on Company of heroes on this map
Went back and forth at each others bases, and bridges, basically one huge stalemate. Finally just bumrushed the enemy base once we artied it and won.
What are some of the longest game in a RTS that you guy's have had?

Hipi07により編集済み: 8/15/2013 2:32:10 AMHalo Wars, 2v2 on Terminal Moraine. It ended up into a 1v2, so since I was alone I entrenched myself on one of the bases by the light bridges. Cobras all watching the bridge and Wolverines all around the Cobras and extra reactor. They couldn't get by with Grizzlies since the bridge would always turn off when they tried, and Wolverines would tear apart their Hornet attempts. I almost lost when they pelican dropped a shit load of infantry, but I managed to fight it back. The match lasted about 3 hours and a half, and when they had eventually quit because they couldn't take the base, I ranked up twice, completely skipping Commander and making Colonel back on the old rank up system.

Not all in one sitting, but I've had a 13 hour long game on Sins of a Solar Empire before. In one sitting, probably a game of Dawn of War 2 that lasted about 3 or so hours, just going back and forth, back and forth. Was satisfying as hell when I destroyed that loyalist scum, though.

3 and a half hour game in a Halo Wars 2v2 match on Repository. (Very fun map.) Just had my friend set up an entire army of cobras around our 3 bases. (Some wolverines, but very few.) I just pumped out like, 1 vulture, the obligatory spartan team, some ODST's, and some hornets. I think I had 1 or 2 spartans in some tanks, but whatever. Anyway, we kinda just sat there. There wasn't much the enemy was able to do against so many cobras along with another army sitting behind 'em. The only reason the game lasted so long is because we only just prodded them for their bases, we didn't just rush in and stomp them after our armies were set up. And damn did we get a ton of points from just letting them run into our set up. They just wouldn't stop.
