Why do people think conservative economic policy works?
It doesn't seem that way to me. Believe it or not, Obama's policy is very conservative and it enrages me how he is seen as a liberal, when in reality he's the same as Bush. Sure, Ronald Reagan brought some temporary health to the economy, but in the long run it's been terrible for the country.

And no, I'm not a skinny pale 15 year old with no job. I'm well off, and I happily pay my money to help poor people. And I'm Christian! Can you believe that, a [i]Christian[/i] liberal who supports helping the poor?

9 通の返信WWII>all War, not military conflicts, but actual warfare is when the economy improves. Yeah, FDR implemented the New Deal but how effective was it though? When WWII started for America we needed a large supply of troops, food, clothing, weapons, vehicles, and everything else needed to properly engage in war. The people displaced from the Great Depression found new job opportunities on the form as factory workers, farmers, and soldiers. When the war finally ended, people had large sums of money to spend on the now finished wartime rationing. The economy is a living and breathing cycle of ups and downs. We will suffer from economic downfall but feel the rush of economic prosperity. I happily like to help poor people in the form of donations, volunteer work, and giving a poor person a meal. And I'm a Christian that's conservative. One that feels that TANF (Temporary Assistance for Needy Families) has turned into PAGF (Permanent Assistance for Greedy Families)

OP, if your house was flooded with shit would you remove the shit or just raise the ceiling? Neither being economically liberal or conservative is bad, the economy is known for it's ups and downs. This is nothing new. Every economist that knows what they're doing wont play the blame game cause the economy will naturally go into the crapper and soar in the air no matter what the policy is, it's just the way it has always been.
