1 返信3 is better multiplayer due to the added features like forge. 2 was a better campaign because it was a more rock and roll version of 3 for lack of a better term.

Campaign: Halo 2. The story was interesting, and the gameplay was just awesome. Except for the brutes. God, I hated the brutes. Multiplayer: Halo 3. Perhaps I'm biased on this, since I've only played Halo 2 on my 360, and there for never experienced halo 2 multiplayer. Still, I had an amazing time In halo 3 multiplayer, and out of almost every game I've played (except team fortress 2), halo 3's multiplayer is my favorite.

3 通の返信I really only care about the Campaign. Im always surprised people liked Halo 2 Campaign so much, In my opinion its my lest favorite campaign, mainly because the Microsoft rushed Bungie to finish it. I Still have nightmares of the bullet sponge Brutes. Its still a good game it brought alot to the series. The Arbiter levels were great fun, as you got to see a different point of view. I Loved Halo 3 Campaign, I think i prefer Halo 3 over Halo 2 because of it was more Social, with the 4 player co - op online. I have some great memories of playing it with my friends, showing them where all the skull and terminals were. I will always feel bad for poor N’tho ‘Sraom and Usze 'Taham because Chief and the Arbiter get all the credit. Halo CE will always be the best though.

nBlooにより編集済み: 8/16/2013 5:23:03 AMCampaign: both Multiplayer: they are both neck to neck but ill have to say Halo 2. H2 XBL was THE ROOTS that made H3 XBL great. H2 was the one that created SWAT, Zombies, cat and mouse, etc. Dont get me wrong H3's multiplayer and features made it better but H2 is more special to me. H:CE is a different story..that must have its hall of fame. Edit: *sigh* i got to start looking at the date on the threads.

MajorTughにより編集済み: 8/18/2013 5:08:10 PMI never got to play halo2's multiplayer so my opinion on that would be biased. As for campaign Halo three had halo 2 beat up until the flood came. They added the flood for no reason in halo 3 (levels like flood gate and the covenant. I excuse the levels Cortana and Halo.) I guess I enjoy halo 3 more if not for the fact that halo 2 showed the flood way too much but my all time favorite classic halo game is halo ce it beats halo 2 and halo 3

1 返信Rex2により編集済み: 8/18/2013 4:17:41 AMIn context of MP, I felt Halo 2 to be the more pure arena shooter when compared to Halo 3. The gameplay centered around, really, weapon & powerup spawns (and the ability to use the weapons and powerups). People like to moan about AA's in Reach and Halo 4, however, I would argue that Halo 3's deployable equipment set the framework for AA's (although, the bubble shield was awesome for novelty's sake). Another thing - with the lack of achievements, armor customization, and an XP based progression system, I thought in hindsight that Halo 2 had a much more enjoyable community as really the only incentive to play was because the game was pure fun and as such the community thrived on its own (ie honor system Zombies). I liked both campaigns. Halo 2 was unique in that the player played as two protagonists (MC, Arbiter). Halo 3 campaign was higher budget, so it would probably seem much better to people today.

I prefer Halo 2 overall. Forge was an amazing feature, but HRRRRRNGH DAT MAP DESIGN. So many of my favourite levels in gaming came from Halo 2. Delta Halo / Regret will forever be my favourite campaign level(s) in gaming for me. The game also just felt great. I love Halo 3, but I think I attach a lot more nostalgia to Halo 2.
