It irritates me that 343 didn't use this for the Chief in Halo 4. Instead they gave us that bullshit nano-bot story as to why his armour changed. This model should have been used in the campaign and the actual model used in the campaign should have been used in the MM.

4 通の返信The way it should be is the way it is in Halo: Reach, it was the last BUNGiE Halo game so it's probably pretty elaborate to how Master Chief was meant to be.

1 返信I also don't think about it anymore. It's artistic license that explains the Chief in Campaign, and it's a weird inclination to bring back the classic Bungie Mk VI armor but still redesign it too. Also artistic license. The armor in the OP is NOT the real Mk VI. It's redesigned as well. 343 just can't resist it. We've got a new Mk V in CEA, and TWO versions of Mk VI in H4. Ridiculous really. Nano-bot explanation is pure bullshit, barely touched on and then utterly forgotten.

3 通の返信Cortana did not physically change Chief's suit. He improved the HUD and circuitry, but the new looks is entirely aesthetic. Why do so many people not get this?

3 通の返信I stand by the fact I like his new armor better. It definitely should have been given a better explanation than nanobots.

8 通の返信I like the look of his new armor, but the nanobot crap was pretty stupid. I still don't get why they needed to come up with an excuse for an art change in the first place, I mean look at how much different the Grunts and Jackals look now. Did their entire race go through some kind of genetic engineering or virus like the Klingons?
