Okay, first off, THIS ISN'T A BITCHFEST. Thought I'd make that clear. this is a reflection of what is in post Bungie and what should be there. Maybe Frank will come and have a nose and see what the true Halo community would like to see in Halo. Feel free to comment anything you think is missing from 343's Halo and I'll add it to the list below.
Here's The list so far: Story Improvements (including character development), Built-in Matchmaking (No installation disc), Improved armour variants (include classic popular suits, put more time into a smaller group of newer models) and separate Flood and Infection gametypes (allow the "zombies" to hold guns for classic custom game favourites).

2 通の返信In my opinion, I do not think 343 should have taken over with another trilogy. Halo 3 had a great ending and halo reach was perfect to top everything off, now the halo series is just being milked. Although I truely love the game and have been a fan of it since the beggining, I don't think another trilogy or 'saga' was nessisary.

I was a fan of the story in halo 4 but unlike bungie's halo 1,2,3 you had no desire to replay the campaign other than the weekly challenges. The true skill matchmaking will always be my favorite though. Halo is now more like call of duty where weapons and grenades take precedent over teamwork and skill. The standardized Br with a pistol for all and fighting for the power weapons is what made the older games so much fun. Now every 1st person shooter is run and gun, or spray and pray.

5 通の返信
Maybe Frank will come and have a nose and see what the true Halo community would like to see in Halo.
That has to be the funniest thing I've read in a while. Frank is a Halo guy, not a Bungie guy. He's not even a programmer or engineer. He was "content manager" and now "franchise developer director" which is fancy titles for "writer". He has no flipping clue what makes Halo gameplay good and fun because he's lost in his little world of making his Halo fanfiction come to life. Microsoft sees Halo as a cash cow and they will do nothing to challenge Frank as the self-appointed keeper of Halo, whereas Bungie's constantly challenging themselves on both gameplay and story/lore. And if the official Waypoint forums are being utterly quashed of dissent (there's lots of stories about banned posters and locked threads who offered legitimate criticisms of Halo 4), what makes you think Frank's going to seek out the very dissent he's been trying to silence? Halo as you loved it is dead. That's why you're here, and not on Waypoint. You're not really a Halo fan, you're a Bungie fan, whether you consciously realized that or not. So give up on Halo and embrace the glory of Bungie unleashed on Destiny.

1 返信I went to waypoint forums for a minute MY GOD I thought it was 343's fault but those people were idiots and I bet 343 just listened to them. "Increase rate of fire and damage for the magnum" the magnum is as strong as a DMR now or at least compared to my game from earlier they are both six shot guns. I don't even want to think about the rest of the retarded stuff they said

I'd like to remind everybody what the point of this topic is. First and foremost, THIS ISN'T A BITCHFEST. Secondly, the idea is that if there is anything you liked in Halo before 343 took over, what would you like to see return/not return or what is already there that you'd like to see disappear/ remain?

9 通の返信You can't really compare them. Bungie did some great things, then they did abominable things. (Reach) Halo 4 is fantastic, especially for 343's first game.

2 通の返信1. Built in matchmaking.(I get you're point) 2. Popular armors. They are making popular armor aka Mark V and ODST(maybe more) and new dlc with it. 3. Flood skin optional and flood holding different weapons. Again I get you're point but, infection holding different weapons was not very popular in Halo Reach. I know I never voted for it and neither did other people. That doesn't mean you shouldn't be able to get creative though.

1 返信I will not buy a halo game from 343, why would buy a CoD copy when I can get the real thing?
-
It's a shame that 343 is making games with the Halo title. If they made a different sci-fi shooter, they would be great, but it simply isn't Halo. In Halo, you don't get bailouts when you can't adapt, the covenant are something to fear, and lack of skill should give you a disadvantage, 343 wants the least skilled players to be able to compete with the most skilled players, which shouldn't be. And to everyone who says 343 aren't milking Halo, they geared Halo 4 toward the casual gamer, which ruins the quality of gameplay for those who care, but brings in more money from those who don't.

2 通の返信You know what would be a huge game changer? The power to change your Spartan. And by this I mean choosing between a Spartan II, Spartan III, and Spartan IV. Loyal halo 1, 2, 3, fans would mostly likely choose spartan 2's. Loyal Reach fans (me, thou I love halo 3) would choose spartan 3's. And for those who are new to halo and love halo 4 would probably chose spartan IV's. Basically, doing this; everyone gets what they want. I was just thinking about it. Highly doubt something like this could or would happen. 2. Halo 4 multiplayer is too repetitive and basically the same thing over and over. (except griffball) One thing they completely shit on is in removing elites from MP. In Reach if I was a little tired in slayer and always killing Spartans (which surprisingly gets boring after a while) I can switch too Invasion or Elite slayer to experience that awesome Sangehili action! Even if it isn't customizable like in halo 3, it would really be great if they brought the elites back into the multiplayer.

4 通の返信The only thing that 343i did better than Bungie was that they made a character model for the Infected players.
