Why would anyone even think about this? This is not Skyrim or Fable! This is a shooter made by Bungie. Marriage would be pointless. I can't think of one upside to the topic. People think that it would add diversity to the game but I don't think it will have any purpose in the game what so ever. If someone can please explain to me that I'm missing some tiny detail about marriage being relevant, I might change my mind but I don't see that happening.

Amen I always found in game marriages pointless, there is no real benefits in any of the games except for achievements(Xbox) and random items your spouse gives you sometimes (fable and skyrim) it's more of an annoying waste of time. Besides this is a shooter, with mmo aspects, but primarily a shooter, I want to destroy my enemies and the enemies of man-kind not waste time with an in game wife. Especially because talking to real woman is so much more satisfying, and rewarding

9 通の返信I missed where marriage was even mentioned, so I don't know why it's even being discussed.

2 通の返信No. It's useful on occasion. Think about it. You could have an online spouse making sandwiches for you in Destiny! The Sandwiches could give you ancient powers.. It's perfect..

It could help with immersion, but I wouldn't take the time to allocate resources to it honestly. Also, imagine being married in real life, and your wife discovers that you have a Destiny wife. She might not dig that.

7 通の返信Yep, you're right... Destiny is a FPS and shouldn't be destroyed by such "details". They let the game look silly and make it like a nerd MMO.

..mmmmmmm... Add in a mate to controll partner. Like 2 player co-op and yes from the same and two xbox's online and auto set a.f.g. Ooo... add in an a.f.g. guild follow setting, like traveling with a re-spawning army. I'd personally like to play with my mate as my wife and in game and loose the a.f.g feature. :) Someone should move the force and make it so when we design our mates they show up. :D

1 返信In all seriousness though, romance between players is unnecessary in a first-person shooter. I know it has some MMO attributes, but marriage has no place in Destiny. Romance is fine as long as it is part of the storyline and not player to player. Not to mention the amount of trolling people could do. Someone could go on your 'Guardian profile' and see who you're married to, and start spamming her with sexist jokes. It could work the other way too, not in the form of sexism of course but just harassing a guy in general. Like I said, marriage has no place here. You are right.
