Ever changing enviroments
Do you think Destiny should have a map thats ever changing like for instance one area gets rain that causes a flood or rockslide that makes it hard or impossible to pass here by foot or land there by ship. A Hurricane that ruined an enemy base that you can now scavange from. A sandstorm or earthquake revealed a hidden location to underground ruins on MARs never before seen with a trove of ancient gear and dormant alien creature were set free. Maybe a Spider Tank got stuck in the rockslide and you dig it out and repair it, now its yours. Or on a smaller scale snow in areas when its winter in real life.Though looking at the same weather for months would be boring so maybe different areas had set weather for a period of time and you could fly, drive, or walk to different regions with different weather
Also it could be so that items that were common become rare by the area obtained would be demolished by a natural disaster. Maybe weather alerts thats posted on a app to let players know what weather conditions will soon be happening where. Forest fires should be a possibility too.
Which do you want random weather events that causes unknown events or realtime weather events

yeah totally but I WOULD EXPECT to see changes only in mars and earth because the enviroment changes are more variated but maybe venus too.... and i would also expect real time changes like for the seasons, holidays and everything i support all your ideas

2 通の返信Itd be cool if certain missions/quests cant be completed because of flooding,a fallen tree, hurricane etc. and youd have to wait till later

1 返信As cool as it would be- I doubt weather will have much of an impact. Keep in mind Bungie is developing this as a game that can be played on both the current gen, and last gen.

1 返信As long as it was completely random, yes. Because if you played the game a lot you could predict when the next rockslide or sandstorm would hit.

I think the weather thing would be really exciting for the first couple weeks or so but after that I can see them being annoying! Although if the weather is sever and unsuspecting It won't ruin the game for me or anything, I'll just have to battle through it!

1 返信I like the idea but a rockslide might get annoying if it happened repeatedly. Also alerts might be a bit overkill if it was just stormy weather.

1 返信I couldn't read the whole topic/comment thing as I am in a rush but I love the idea me and my friends would have so much fun with that feature and I would play the game for that factor alone let alone the rest of the game somebody email a bungie developer person about this guys or girls idea or get this person hired at bungie

That would be sick I could picture it... You are going a path that you have bin tacking for weeks but now there is a lost artifact there with a new ultra rare gun in the building and you can show it off to all your friends and you can be like "yeah I know it looks cool wright I found it!"

3 通の返信I really like the idea of random weather but would really hate if it alerted you. Have subtle signs like dark clouds rolling in and the wind picking up or something but no alerts.
