Which do you choose? The finger would be removed with a cleaver and you couldn't use painkillers. The finger could never be reattached.
Edit: The finger would be from your dominant hand. The Chinese people you save would never know of your sacrifice.

As much as I would love to save a thousand people. The fact that they would never know what I did for them and the fact that China is extremely over populated, I would choose the earthquake. I feel like a bad person for choosing this though
