Tell me what three subclasses you want to see for each class in Destiny.

  • I wouldn't prefer specific subclasses in this if they were going to limit the weapons you can use. If I want to use a shotgun, I don't want the game saying I can't.. if I want to switch to a Sniper, then let me. I don't want to be limited on what weapons I can carry and use.

  • Im thinking there is going to be traits for each class that you can develop to make your own, because if someone does not want just a heavy character, but something in the middle and leaning towards heavy then it would not be a big deal. They already talked about not wanting to make people choose a class and the subgroups and then regret a subgroup and have to restart. They talked about changing your character at any time to meet what you want (as in you are a titan and you started picking lighter stuff and decided you wanted heavier stuff you would just move the stats to match up what you wanted)

  • I truly do not think their will be sub classes. While it would not surprise me if Bungie did this (for a more unique character base) i do not think they will. Their may be a "undefined" type of subclass where the fan base (the players) sorta make one (as in all warlocks get a "healing" spell, but some people may make warlocks specially for that). As for people that say about the Vanguard thing, it was confirmed that that was a type of armor in game, not a subclass.

    • Titan We already know the name Vanguard. I would take a guess it is geared towards being a CQB tank that gets up close to the enemy and tanks out. Commando - Sheer slaying power, proficient with every kind of weapon at any range, has slighty less health than vanguard or something along those lines. Suppressor - Long range weapon specialist, has lowest shields but can effectively outgun anything from a distance. Hunter Infiltrator - Designed to get up close and personal without being detected. Might have melee weapons, otherwise shotguns, smgs, etc. Marksman - Built around keeping enemies pinned down from mid to cose range with assault rifles Ranger - The longest range specialist in the game. Made for sniping Warlock Fury - The Warlock with the highest damaging powers. But, they only have a certain range at which they are effective, so s/he has to get up close, which can be risky. Sentinel - The most well rounded Warlock. Will be effective at all ranges, but won't have the direct killing power of either the Fury or the Sorcerer Sorcerer _ The long range specialist. This one is built by having projectile powers that target single enemies or large groups from a distance that hit from range, allowing the Sorcerer to stay out of the direct line of fire.

      -------------- Marauder = All out damage/Heavy weapons TITAN - - Knight = A mixture of good combat abilities and group buffing -------------- Juggernaut = A power house able to take huge amounts of damage. Super Heavy Armour ---------------- Scout/Sniper = Long range, sniper rifles, target painting HUNTER - - Assassin = Stealth, high melee damage, stealth kills, bonus to crit hit % ---------------- Scout/Engineer = Long Range, able to setup strategic turret positions/traps --------------- Force = Main magic swinging dps class using power from The Traveler Warlock - - Cleric = Able to heal on the fly and instantly get people up from a KO --------------- Shaman = Able to apply buffs to others and debuffs to the enemy.
